We have been crafting fine chocolates in Dorset since 2002 with origin chocolate & local, seasonal ingredients (& no additives, preservatives or added sugar), so they are truly handmade, handpacked & delivered fresh.

“Exceptionally good chocolate, albeit pricy. The only reason I'm not awarding 5 stars is that we were disappointed by our recent order of chocolate-covered orange segments. There was far too much chocolate to orange, not at all what we were expecting, and my sister made a far superior and more refined version! My only other gripe is that they didn't switch carrier before Christmas, and our named-day delivery very arrived late as a result.”

Thank you, we hope that next time we'll be able to far exceed expectations to make up for it. We should mention that preferred delivery dates aren't guaranteed, so even with without Royal Mail strikes, we wouldn't consider one day later than requested as 'very' late. Furthermore, we should mention that we did use an alternative carrier in the lead up to Christmas, but at the time of your order there wasn't an express service option available.

“We bought a "Giant Assorted Festive Chocolate Hamper" as a gift for friends. The Hamper was sent direct to them as we no longer live in the UK so we did not have the opportunity to see it before they received it. Delivery time was exactly as promised and our friends told us they were delighted with the variety & quality of the contents. So can't give ratings on the product based on personal experience but I reckon our friends' comments are enough to merit close to top marks!”

“Bought as a gift for my mum's 70th. We did have some teething problems with our subscription but after speaking to the Chococo team they did a great job sorting it out for us - much appreciated! Mum's loved the chocolates!”

“Ordered a couple of boxes for Christmas presents to try after getting bored with the ‘same every year’ of Hotel C…. (Which are lovely, but getting repetitive). Very prompt delivery desite the postal strikes. Must say the feedback was fantastic (I can confirm too as I managed to snaffle s few from my better half :) ) Absolutely lovely chocs, will definitely order again and you may have a couple of converts from those receiving the chocs.”

“Having discovered Chococo a number of years ago they have been our 'go to' for special occasion chocolates. However, I was really disappointed by the chocolate box subscription bought for my parents' wedding anniversary. The chocolates had shrunk drastically in size since we last bought any - really too small, especially for a gift. Also it was no cheaper to buy three months' worth of boxes than to buy three separately. I'm afraid we won't be shopping here again.”

We're really sorry to hear of your disappointment. Both the boxes that we pack our chocolates in and the moulds we use to make the chocolates are exactly the same size as they always have been, so we can't understand why you think they've shrunk. We can only think that perhaps you were comparing the medium sized box (which you ordered) with the large box.

“I ordered three boxes of milk chocolate turtles, but at least one of them was wrong - stated turtles on the box but contained white, milk and dark chocolate dinosaurs. So a bit disappointing, and I haven’t yet heard from one of the other recipients who was also expecting turtles. Hopefully you can see the evidence in the photo I’ve uploaded”

Sorry that there was a problem with the item you received. Less a case of a wolf in sheep's clothing than dinos in a turtle wrap! Hopefully the chocolate was still enjoyed. If you'd let us know about this we would have been able to put it right for you and we would also have been alerted to the problem. Sadly, you're unhappy, and as you didn't give us the opportunity of putting it right, we're unhappy. We're humans here at Chococo, with humans making the chocolates and humans packing them. This does mean we can occasionally get things wrong but we're here to put things right, if only we get the chance.
