About Chococo:

We have been crafting fine chocolates in Dorset since 2002 with origin chocolate & local, seasonal ingredients (& no additives, preservatives or added sugar), so they are truly handmade, handpacked & delivered fresh.
We believe truly fresh chocolates taste better & our customers & food experts agree, as we have won over 70 fine food awards over the years for our creations including most recently, 3 World medals at the International Chocolate Awards...enjoy!

“I do wish the “mixed” boxes contained less dark chocolates. The dark is quite “bitter” and there are combinations that seem to be layers of dark on dark. Maybe that’s an individual, subjective viewpoint on my behalf. And I should stick to the milk selections.”

“Very limited choice of mid-range / larger gift packs - most were out of stock. The courier tried to deliver on a date that was several days earlier than the scheduled delivery date - person was away - but was delighted when it arrived on the next scheduled delivery date”

Thank you, we're so pleased the recipient loved their gift. We offer a small curated range of hampers and gift selections, but many of our customers prefer to create their own – after all, all of our chocolates are gift-worthy, whether bundled by us or chosen individually. As for delivery, the service selected was our "ships next working day" option, which we fulfilled as scheduled. All our delivery dates are estimated, and while couriers may occasionally attempt delivery earlier than expected, tracking is provided throughout to help manage this.

The outer bag is our standard gift bag, as shown on the website, but we totally get where you’re coming from - a little extra Halloween flair on the outside could add to the fun. “I cannot review your chocolates as they were a birthday present for my daughter-in-law. However I can comment on the ordering and delivery processes. I indicated when ordering that the chocolates were a present. Nowhere was I given the opportunity to write a gift card, so I had to warn my son about their arrival and who they were from. I wanted them delivered on her birthday, which I was told was possible. The date was the 27th September. I was then told they could not be delivered until 30th september. I then received a message stating that they would actually be delivered on 26th, which was not at all what I wanted! Overall, this has been a fairly unsatisfactory and shambollick process.”

Thank you for your feedback, and we're sorry the experience wasn't as smooth as hoped. The option to add a gift message is available at checkout, but it sounds like this may have been missed - we'll review how we can make it clearer. As for the delivery, all our dates are estimated (not guaranteed), and this is shown during checkout, on the order confirmation, and again in the despatch email. Your order was placed close to our daily cut-off and used 1st Class (ships next working day) shipping, but we were able to dispatch the same day, resulting in delivery a day earlier than the birthday rather than 3 days later. We really appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts and hope the chocolates were well received.
