Dear Graham, thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear you are disappointed to find your Coffee Saucer to be a second. We do allow seconds into our 'Excellent' category if we feel the overall condition of the item is in keeping with our description for an 'Excellent' item. We will look to improve our site to make this clearer and thank you for pointing this out to us. Best wishes, Matt & Matt
