“Poor customer Service, Delivery late. So I ordered 2 items, one turned up later than expected and damaged. Other was not in delivery so rung to query. Got told other item was being delivered separate. And I would receive a discount on damaged item. 5days later the second item arrives and no discount. Disappointed with this high profile company is a understatement.”

“Fast, efficient and communicative.. I ordered a small 25 litre aquarium tank and paid extra for a Saturday delivery. First let me assure you that my tank arrived exactly at the time expected and was well packaged, really well packaged! There was a small moment of confusion when the courier made a blip on their part and did not scan the package upon collecting it from Charterhouse Aquatics, causing the courier's system to automatically message me saying my purchase would not be delivered. Confusion ensued and I fired off an angry email. Then minutes later the delivery turned up and I felt rather sheepish about my premature outburst and promptly sent an email of apology. Despite this minor blip I was really pleased with the courier who was polite and handled my package with care. The courier used was DPD, who are much better than Yodel or Hermes Charterhouse still rang me early that afternoon just to check that everything was okay with my delivery. And the overall communication from Charterhouse aquatics was excellent.”

“Dealing with a faulty light unit. My light unit was failing badly after only one month of use. I contacted Charterhouse and was dealt with promptly, courteously and efficiently at all times. The unit was replaced and I am very satisfied with my contact. Sometimes components fail and this is when shops have to demonstrate commitment to their customers, rather than fobbing them off. I am very happy how I was treated by Charterhouse. Many thanks! Anthony”

“A Total Service. I'm an online customer and have had absolutely no problems or gripes with Charterhouse Aquatics. Goods and livestock always arrive in the advised time slot and well packaged. When I had a recent problem with my tank, they gave me good advice but also put me in touch with someone else who confirmed their solution (it worked). I'm only sorry they are so far from my home so I can't visit the shop..”

“Brilliant service. Placing my order on the Thursday just into the New Year, I was unsure when I would receive it, as most firms seem to shut for two weeks. However, soon an email arrived to say it had been shipped. Then another to tell me exactly when I would receive it. The chosen courier had an exact tracking facility, which was great. My parcel arrived as promised, well packed and as ordered. I was very impressed and have already recommended Charterhouse as a great place to order from. I hope I will get over to look around the shop at some point as online it looks amazing. Thank you Charterhouse!”

“Highly recommended. So I took a plunge based on the reviews and placed a fairly large order over 螢1k and all I can is that is was mostly faultless. The checkout process was easy, the communication was good and I got the item the next day. A issue I had was that one of the retail boxed items I received was missing a part, I contacted Charterhouse by phone (was Saturday) and was told by automated answering machine that they can't take phone calls over the weekend and that I had to use their out of hours e-ticketing system. I have to say I was slightly miffed as they appear to be a big outfit and I would have expected weekend phone support or at least on a Saturday, like most people I work during the week so weekends is the only time I have to work on stuff. They replied to my ticket within 2hrs but they could not send out the replacement part till the following Monday, this did inconvenience me somewhat, but I got the part now and everything is ok. I would highly recommend that people order stuff mid of beginning of the week so that if there is a issue with an item you'll be able to get the support you expect. I got caught out as I just expected that they would have the phone support at the weekends. I did notice that their sales line and bricks and mortar store were open on the Saturday though. Overall I'm very satisfied, prices are competitive for the most part, order process was very clear and easy, delivery was amazing, customer service was good (though probably better Mon-Fri). I urge anyone reading this to use these guys as you won't be disappointed. I will be using them again.”
