“I have ordered several products from Charterhouse and to their credit, they have been really quick to despatch, sometimes with delivery the next day!! Where I feel they fall down is the shipping on their livestock - I only wanted to order 2 snails, but the shipping was £25. I looked to see if I could pick up from site, but unfortunately that wasn’t an option which is a shame.”

“Received my tank with next day delivery which was great, but the heater packed which came with the tank packed in in a matter weeks, Charter house aquatics were no help and basically fobbed me off to chase the tank manufacturer myself. Ended up buying another heater from a local shop”

“Put a order in said on web page order before a certain time get it Monday so I did didn’t turn up until Fri after I called them they said they were waiting for a part of my order to come in but didn’t tell me that or emailed me to let me no”

“Usually a great service but unfortunately this time my bucket of salt was badly damaged on delivery resulting in me losing a kilo of salt. I understand these things happen however when I reached out to their customer service department on the 12th I was ignored...”

“Ordered from them as thought delivery was going to be quick. Was not despatched until the end of the next day and then not delivered until after the weekend. Not quite the service I'd normally expect.”

“The aquarium was competitively priced. Delivery was disappointing. I took a days annual leave to be available for delivery. Firstly I was sent incorrect tracking for a product delivered in Europe over a month ago. When phoning to check delivery I was assured it would arrive as planned. By 4pm no update so called once more to be told it should be with you today. I then tracked down the local company responsible for the delivery to be told they messaged Charterhouse at 7:30am to advise delivery would not be possible. I was not impressed especially loosing a days annual leave unnecessarily and when contacting Charterhouse to simply get a cursory ’sorry’ felt lacking when spending a few hundred pounds.”

“I ordered the Fluval Sea Evo 52ltr Aquarium and the Fluval PS2 Protein Skimmer. Delivery was fine, although both items were delivered by separate couriers at different times of the day for some reason. No issues whatsoever with the aquarium itself, but the skimmer arrived damaged. I went through the website to request a return and waited almost a week for an e-mail to say that my return had been authorised, and that more information on how to do the return would follow. That was two days ago and I'm still waiting!”

“Good prices and reasonably good delivery. Eheim filter parts ordered came in flimsy paper bag all the boxes inside crushed and useless to store the spare filters in. Never given this company a bad review, but if this is the packaging of the future there are other suppliers. Please charge a little more and ensure goods ordered are intact. I think most people like to receive goods sent in boxes arrive in decent condition. Charterhouse - Please use good packaging .”

“Having waited since beginning of Feb for their new stock to arrive,disappointed to find that it had an expiry date of April 2024,giving me two weeks to use a bottle that would normally last me 5 weeks. New batches can last up to 6 months in fridge once opened. This appears to be what was supplied by their wholesaler as new? They are however trying to locate fresh batch for me.”

“lengthy wait. Have ordered items from charterhouse before with no problems but had to wait far too long for my latest order to arrive and because there was a wait for 1 of my items the rest of my order was not sent to me until the order was complete which as I had ordered food with the order waiting about 6 weeks was far too long.”

“Ordered a new aquarium online. Ordered a new aquarium online. It asks you to pick a delivery day. Chose the Friday. Received an email Thursday morning saying it had been dispatched and it turned up at my empty house 3 hours later. So as I live 400 miles away it must have come by helicopter. I ended up with a 螢1000 aquarium sitting on my drive for 3 hours. Thankfully it was well packaged. It does looks great and was undamaged.”

“Redsea Tank Cover. Ordered the net, paid double on delivery to get it by Saturday and didn課ｪt turn up until the Wednesday. Redsea product was as good as always but delivery let me down.”
