“It does not turn the water black! sure there is some cloud initially, but it disappears within 20 minutes and after that, it is not an issue. I have bought the same product elsewhere (3 times) and the water has been cloudy and black for hours, sometimes overnight, and still cloudy the following day. My aquarium buddies would hate that, I know I would. This store provides quality, maybe it is how they store the product, but it works as it should. Don't be fooled, the same product is NOT the same where ever you buy it. If you want to buy this product, which is the best according to my fish, make sure you get it from a reputable supplier like Charterhouse Aquatics. TROPICA AQUARIUM SOIL ps: the bonsai trees are beautiful too.”
