About Charlotte Mills :

Wedding shoe designer, Charlotte, graduated from the prestigious Cordwainers (part of London college of Fashion) and along with its Alumni - the likes of Jimmy Choo, Patrick Cox and Sophia Webster - she followed her dreams and created her own brand in 2014 when she launched her first collection.

A pair of Charlotte Mills shoes has everything covered - the “Something old” is the silver Sixpence, the “Something new” is your shoes, “Something Borrowed is an envelope we provide which can be sent back to us with a picture of you in your shoes, and your “Something blue” is the blue detailing in the in-sock.

Charlotte hopes that each and every Bride falls in love with their wedding shoes and will treasure them forever as a keepsake of their special day.

Ordered lua pearl bridal shoes. These shoes were pre order only so waited along time for them to come. When the shoes arrived the box was damaged, not a good start! I was so excited to unbox the shoes but I was left feeling very disappointed with the quality. I returned the shoes and nearly a month later I have still not received my refund!! I have sent many emails and this has still not been resolved. I would not waste my money ordering from this company again, not only was the quality of the shoes not worth £280, now I cant get my money back from them!! Avoid!!

A very aesthetically pleasing company however I am unhappy with the quality of the products on offer, especially given the high price points.

Awful experience, both items received are faulty and are marked as part of the sample sale, although they were purchased from the website on the price stated on the website and not in the lower price they had during the sample sale. As a result CM have sent me a sample sale returns form which is definitely not the case, I have received two faulty items and normal refund policy must be applied, as per above. Have contacted customer services and expecting a quick resolution as I m definitely very disappointed.

I really wasn’t at all impressed with the quality of the glasses for the price. Glad I bought my shoes elsewhere.

Such a shame these were not in a satin material. Very uncomfortable and the heel part was very small. I had high hopes that these would be my wedding shoes

Says my parcel was delivered but the picture was of a different house and they’re taking ages to answer me and these are for a family members wedding present. Still haven’t got the shoes!!

Re order no CM27843. I ordered a beautiful shoe but unfortunately my toes are too round for the design and I had the need to return through tracking number QY959958128CB That was 3 weeks ago today The tracking status has not been updated and is still showing as the shoe being delivered to the PO where I collected them I have no idea when my refund of £250 will be made Disappointed and slightly concerned - would appreciate an update. I expected a much higher quality of product for the price - £255 and the straps on the buckles are not finished well (the inner leather and outer glitter layer aren’t aligned) and despite the description saying ‘soft leather’, these shoes feel tough and unyielding. I don’t have time to return them before the wedding so will live with it, but for a company that requires appointments to try shoes on like a bridal boutique, they should focus on improving the quality of their product first. Very disappointed.

I was really gutted about my purchase with Charlotte Mills. I had been waiting for some time for the shoes to come in stock, for them to arrive with defects. The items were returned & unfortunately, I will not be re-purchasing.

The ankle straps were far too big for anyone with normal human ankles! It was like walking in flip-flops (they even made a 'flip-flop' sound as they flapped on and off my heels). The glitter was rough and scratchy. It would have shredded the bottom of my dress! The soles of the shoes are ridiculously impractical! They mark just by being touched with your fingers, god forbid they touch a floor or you breathe on them. Plus if you mark them whilst trying them on, they can refuse to accept your return and refund! I was so excited to receive my shoes but good god they were awful. I have never left a bad review for anything before but these shoes were so expensive and so shockingly terrible. I returned them for a refund.

After waiting nearly 3 months for my wedding shoes to arrive, the soles of the shoes were completely scuffed and not in great condition! Which is such ashame as you can tell the shoes are lovely and were wrapped in a lovely decorative box. I’m now waiting for an exchange for the same shoes in better condition and anxious they won’t arrive on time for my dress alterations and my wedding itself! I feel after waiting nearly 3 months for the shoes in the first place and then poor condition of the shoes, I’ve not received any goodwill regarding this which would have been appreciated, when I’ve really not been happy at all! I ordered a pair of Charlotte Mills shoes as my wedding dress had come in so wanted them to take with me to the fitting.. these were ordered on a Monday evening paying for 24hour delivery so there was plenty of time as my fitting was a Friday , the shoes did not arrive until the following Monday! On the Tuesday I emailed asking why I hadn’t had a dispatch email or any sort of notification, this was acknowledged and I was assured it was being looked in to- apparently there was an issue with the warehouse they are using and couldn’t locate the shoes I was able to order, these were then sent to me from the head quarters and I was refunded my delivery due to the late arrival, but when they came they were not the wide fit I had ordered and were clearly either an ex display model or a pair that had been sent back as you will see from the pictures. I wouldn’t recommend buying these shoes.

Making the order was fine, receiving the order, fine. Waiting on a refund? Horrible. Posted back on 22-Apr-2020, it is now 19-May and i am still waiting my refund to be processed. Received an email on 11-may that they received the parcel but nothing else. No other retailer takes this long to process returns so completly unsure as to what they're up too. Maybe cus of covid-19, they're planning on keeping my money, who knows. Either way I will be filling a Paypal suit if my refund isnt processed by 22-may.
