About Charlotte Mills :

Wedding shoe designer, Charlotte, graduated from the prestigious Cordwainers (part of London college of Fashion) and along with its Alumni - the likes of Jimmy Choo, Patrick Cox and Sophia Webster - she followed her dreams and created her own brand in 2014 when she launched her first collection.

A pair of Charlotte Mills shoes has everything covered - the “Something old” is the silver Sixpence, the “Something new” is your shoes, “Something Borrowed is an envelope we provide which can be sent back to us with a picture of you in your shoes, and your “Something blue” is the blue detailing in the in-sock.

Charlotte hopes that each and every Bride falls in love with their wedding shoes and will treasure them forever as a keepsake of their special day.

Ordered the bag on sale for £30 instead of the usual RRP £125. I expected the quality would be better, however there was visible glue at the seams and a patch of glue on the leather next to the seam. Overall it just felt and looked quite cheap so I was surprised by the original price for the bag. It was definitely more the quality of a £30 bag but I would rather spend more and have something nicer so I arranged a return. I was disappointed that despite returning the item due to poor quality (no fault of my own), I will be charged a fee to return so I won’t even get all the money back that I paid. The returns process itself is also a bit outdated and cumbersome as I had to print the label and returns slip. Overall, I wouldn’t purchase from the website again.

I was missing an item from my order, and two weeks later I still haven’t heard back about whether I will receive my missing item or get a refund. My attempts to contact customer service are being ignored.

I would not recommend buying Here. Firstly the website advertises that shoes should be delivered within 2 working days if you chose standard delivery. My shoes took 8 days to arrive and that was only after chasing the company. They were not dispatched until 7 days after my order was placed, having taken the money from me as soon as the order was placed. Secondly when the shoes finally arrived, The shipping quality was POOR. I ordered multiple pairs of shoes to try and rather than carefully packaging them in one box, they arrived in a make shift box.. they used 3 small boxes masking tapped together to make a big parcel. This made it difficult to unpack but also a nightmare to return. I thought this was poor service for a company selling shoes at £300 a pair. Finally the shoes were pretty but felt let down by the service so returned all the shoes. Its been 2 weeks since I return them and have still not received my refund or any communication for the company. I feel for the price of the shoe the service should be significantly better so would personally buy elsewhere. ordered my shoes on 8/2 and not receive them until 16/2. The website says you will receive a dispatched email, when I still hadn’t received one on 13/2 I emailed. Customer service was responsive and apologied for the delay but confirmed they would be sent out by 14/2. In the end they were only dispatched on the 15/2.

I ordered a pair of wedding shoes off the site and was contacted by Debbie to say that ‘Unfortunately there has been a mistake on the system and the Indi pearl in your size are currently out of stock’. I was of course super disappointed that they had allowed me to order and pay for something that wasn’t in stock and that their recommendation was to either wait till back in stock, try a different size or style or get a refund. I didn’t really like any of the other styles and cannot under style why I would be recommended to try a different size as they wouldn’t have fit. I asked for a refund and heard nothing for 6 days and when I did get a response, I was told my email had gone into their junk folder and that ‘your shoes must have come in stock, as I have just gone to refund you and realised they have now been sent‘. It just felt really disorganised and wasn’t a good customer experience. When the shoes did come, they were beautifully packaged etc. but have decided I will likely return due to personal preference.

The shoes are beautiful but are very tight (the wide fit is not wide fit!). I have emailed the customer service team for advice but have not received a response. The box also arrived torn and the plastic over the soles was missing, which was odd given the note inside the box saying that they must be returned with this on. Wiuld have expected better service given the price and premium of the products. Will have to return.

I would love to leave a lovely review but sadly I ordered my shoes in February and they have still not arrived! So I have my dress fitting next week and no shoes, :(

My disappointment is not with the product but with the company. My delivery did not meet the 3-5 standard delivery and was received late. When I received the product it was damaged and missing a stud , I returned the shoes and asked for an exchange and upon receiving my second pair of shoes they have been exchanged for the wrong pair. When ringing to explain my disappointment the customer service was poor. I have now had to return a second pair and I am awaiting the correct pair …. If I didn’t like the product as much as I do I would have to have given up and asked for a refund by now. Considering your business is bridal and making people feel special this experience certainly hasn’t .

Shipping was good but shoes are not standard sizing and wide fit are definitely not wide fit. Messaged the page when my shoes came and were too small and advised that some shoes 'run small' but why not have standard sizing? Isn't that the point of shoe sizes? Had to return but returns process was very easy.

Felt the shoes we're very overpriced, I didn't feel comfortable when walking as the straps appeared to be in the wrong place to keep the heel down. External box for packaging was very flimsy considering there was £470 worth of shoes inside, disappointed.

Good Evening I was super excited to receive my wedding shoes. Upon opening I discovered that the left shoe had a few marks on it. One can be seen on the back heel part of the shoe. I have attached pictures to show below. I am very disappointed as these shoes have just arrived therefore I am not sure why this was not spotted before being delivered. Kind regards Paxton Cooke

I will be returning my shoes, I want to try them on tonight at my dress fitting but I don't think they fit quite right on my feet and also the shells on it seem to flake off a lot so I'm scared to even touch the shoes, really quite surprised at how bad quality they seem, should bits really be flaking off of them? They only delivered last week but I will most likely be returning them in the next couple of days, I just wanted to see how they looked with my dress at the fitting but I think they're not quite right. Really quite disappointed.
