About Charlotte Mills :

Wedding shoe designer, Charlotte, graduated from the prestigious Cordwainers (part of London college of Fashion) and along with its Alumni - the likes of Jimmy Choo, Patrick Cox and Sophia Webster - she followed her dreams and created her own brand in 2014 when she launched her first collection.

A pair of Charlotte Mills shoes has everything covered - the “Something old” is the silver Sixpence, the “Something new” is your shoes, “Something Borrowed is an envelope we provide which can be sent back to us with a picture of you in your shoes, and your “Something blue” is the blue detailing in the in-sock.

Charlotte hopes that each and every Bride falls in love with their wedding shoes and will treasure them forever as a keepsake of their special day.

“I came across CM via Instagram ads. I loved their shoes and decided to buy them. Originally I brought the wrong size so I sent back for an exchange. As I was at my parents for a week I called to ask to change the postage address and instead they fast tracked the new pair to me and I had them the next day! The right size, beautifully made and buttery soft leather. The customer service i received when calling in to organise the exchange was unbelievable. I thought I would end up having to wait ages. Very impressed and I can’t wait to wear my shoes! Thank you so much!”

“Absolutely 5 stars I'd give more if I could. I originally ordered the Aubrey dress in size 12, I just didn't feel right in the dress despite how lovely it looked. Exchanged with no fuss and I am glad I did the alba felt great and complimented my Ida shoes and bow hairpiece for my hen do”

“I expected a much higher quality of product for the price - £255 and the straps on the buckles are not finished well (the inner leather and outer glitter layer aren’t aligned) and despite the description saying ‘soft leather’, these shoes feel tough and unyielding. I don’t have time to return them before the wedding so will live with it, but for a company that requires appointments to try shoes on like a bridal boutique, they should focus on improving the quality of their product first. Very disappointed.”

“I ordered a pair of wedding shoes off the site and was contacted by Debbie to say that ‘Unfortunately there has been a mistake on the system and the Indi pearl in your size are currently out of stock’. I was of course super disappointed that they had allowed me to order and pay for something that wasn’t in stock and that their recommendation was to either wait till back in stock, try a different size or style or get a refund. I didn’t really like any of the other styles and cannot under style why I would be recommended to try a different size as they wouldn’t have fit. I asked for a refund and heard nothing for 6 days and when I did get a response, I was told my email had gone into their junk folder and that ‘your shoes must have come in stock, as I have just gone to refund you and realised they have now been sent‘. It just felt really disorganised and wasn’t a good customer experience. When the shoes did come, they were beautifully packaged etc. but have decided I will likely return due to personal preference.”

“I cannot wait to wear my beautiful shoes on the big day. They are so comfortable and I can see me being able to wear them the whole day. I am so pleased to be able to find a pair with straps to keep them on my feet and the block heel makes them extra comfy. I am so pleased they were available in a wider fit for my awkward feet! The attention to detail is amazing and the Pearl leather is gorgeous. I have never owned such a beautiful and special pair of shoes! I look forward to enjoying them on our anniversaries in years to come too. Thank you Charlotte Mills!”

“I LOVE my Charlotte Mills shoes 😍 I bought the Henny style in size 8, but as I have wide feet I was sceptical as I know they offer a wide fit range (which Henny isn’t part of). However, even with my wide feet, they fit amazingly! From first try on they felt comfortable, and I can see myself wearing them all day at my wedding ☺️”

“The Charlotte Mills website was very easy to use and I found the right shoes for me very easily. The sixpence in the sole and the poem on the bottom make these shoes extra special. Which is what you want for your wedding day. They also came in beautiful packaging so were a joy to unwrap and with lots of information about returning and how to look after the shoes.”

“Lovely shoes, great little touches to them, was a shame when you purchased shoes in store that you didn't get a Charlotte Mills branded bag or even a blue one, instead just a low quality white one, would have been a nice touch for the money you're paying and especially as you were buying in person instead of online. Store attendant was okay but not overly forthcoming or chatty, would have expected a little bit more of a better service, overall very happy with the shoes, can't wait to wear them, just let down on the bag & store staff”

“I had a lovely time at the London pop up and was thrilled to find my wedding shoes. The only thing I would say is I found it a bit downheartening how tiny the shoe sizes are. The ladies told me everyone has to size up, so why not just make the sizing more accurate? Additionally, I don't have wide feet but there was one style in wide fit that I couldn't even get my foot into, which I was told is an issue many girls have had. It is just really sad that the vanity sizing we know is so infamous in the wedding dress industry even extends to shoes. I am a size 8 shoe and ended up buying a size 9 from you, so if someone was actually size 9 I doubt they would have a hope of buying from you. I do love my shoes though and can't wait to wear them and thank you for a nice experience at the pop up 😊xx”
