“My order was processed very promptly but my complain is that the delivery man delivered my shoes to the wrong house and the photo confirming delivery was not of my house. I had to ring the company to find out where my shoes were. They were eventually tracked down to a neighbour who was on holiday. It was fortunate that another neighbour collected the post for them and found my shoes.”

“I was delighted to receive my wonderful shoes so quickly, and they are lovely. The reason for 4 stars and not 5, is the box they arrived in was battered and split, and the tissue wasn't crisp. For the price i expected perfection throughout. It hasn't made any difference to my chosing you. I will shop again. As the speed was perfect as was my purchase.”

“The shoes were damaged when I received them so I'm returning them tomorrow to your Keswick branch for a refund. Although the shoes were in the sale I didn't expect them to be different shades and the right shoes is creased at the instep and the soles are also different shades at £65 I didn't find them accceptable and I'm disappointed you didn't have a replacement however full marks to your customer care assistant who was very pleasant.”

“I purchased 2 pairs of sandals and a pair of trainers. All are good quality and fit as I always get from Clinkard's although I usually shop in store. Star dropped due to two things, one I don't seem to have got my points on my card I would have got if I had shopped in store and the other was problems with delivery. DPD informed me they were going to deliver on a day when I was already out so I used their service to request a delivery to a neighbour, however they did not do this and took it back to Leeds. I requested a next day delivery date which was confirmed and I stayed in all day but they did not deliver and then gave me a delivery date for the following day. This was delivered at the time and date specified. Not the delivery persons fault but there online system does not work. Would be good if specified day delivery was an option.”

“Frustrated that express delivery only guarantees dispatched within 3 days, most companies now offer express as next day, although your website says weekend orders count as Monday order your customer services tried to say ‘ well you ordered at 2.30 on Friday so that counts as the weekend”
