“I ordered 4 pairs is boots into the Newbury store. I was delayed getting to the shop to try them on but this was not a problem. Very good staff and helpful when I got there. Two pairs fitted so well. The others the store sent back for me.”

“Usually buy my winter boots from Clinkards they are good quality and fairly priced. My size wasn’t available in store so I had to buy online. Delivery was as promised. The boot is comfortable, stylish and feels substantial enough for winter weather I would recommend.”

“Super service and support via chat prior to ordering. Delivery within a few days to an offshore island, great! Unfortunately the Gabor boots I ordered were too large but it was difficult to guage size as my calf is small but I went for my normal size and they were too big around the ankles. Perhaps not the right fit for me.”

“I have bought Gabor shoes for so many years. I always depend on the quality and durability and of course style. However, the boots I recently bought had to be returned. They are beautiful boots, but I could not get the left boot over my instep. The width of boot in the leg was fine. Will you please consider all your wide fitting customers. There are a lot of us out there. I notice you do slim fitting and medium fitting, how about catering for your wide fitting customers. It cost me a small fortune to return the boots to you. I dare not risk ordering others. The nearest Clinkard shop for me is 35 miles away. You closed my Cambridge branch!!”

Thank you for your review. We do have 2 wider fitting styles at the present time https://www.charlesclinkard.co.uk/women-c1/boots-c3/gabor-m23#t17:t8 and hope to have more for the winter months. We do have the boots that you ordered coming in again soon in the next size up which you may find gives you more room within the shoe area. With regard to returns, we do have a portal on our website where for the discounted price of £3.20 you can purchase a Royal Mail tracked label. I hope that this helps for future reference. “I couldn't get your returns portal to work so I rang you. I waited hardly any time, spoke to an efficient and friendly assistant and received the returns label in my email immediately. I posted the spare shoes back on a Saturday, this was aknowledged by return and I was refunded actually into my account by the Monday. Brilliant work!”
