Just the shoes I wanted, purchased the same shoe in cream over 2 years ago, so pleased with them. Had wanted them in navy, found them, purchased and so delighted you still had my size in stock and better still them were in your sale, Thank you.

Claire, at the Stratford-upon-Avon store was such a massive help to us. I wanted to try on a pair of boots but the only ones in my size were purple. Much hilarity when my brother announced that the purple boots were the very finest thing he had ever seen and I had to have them. Claire helped us order a black pair also for delivery home (I do need some black boots for work!) and secured us a loyalty discount. She was really kind and sorted everything for us and of course, I walked out of the shop in my new boots like a 6 year old. Thanks to Claire for her help and for entering into the joyful new boots adventure.

Charles Clinkard Service was excellent. I was disappointed however with the Regardez le Ciel ankle boots that I bought. I already have these boots in tan, bought from you a couple of years ago and love them,very comfy & a sensible heel. I ordered the burgundy as a replacement... exactly the same boot, exactly the same size. But I could not get my foot in past the instep. Such a shame, lovely boots but I feel the makers have skimped on the leather upper around the zip, size is immaterial if you cannot get your foot in! So they had to be returned and you lost a sale.

I have used Charles Clinkard for a long time. My recent experience was so bad I will never use Charles Clinkard again. Having received a pair of second hand, well used womens trainers in a battered sellotaped box, and used loyalty vouchers for the part of the purchase, I contacted CS to advise and whilst helpful for returning the item instead of paying the postage usually required, I asked that this was raised given the fact the the quality distribution process allowed this item to pass for dissemination to me. The response whilst polite was perfunctory and and scripted. I was so unimpressed with the level of service and basic response and have lost trust in the quality service expected from Charles Clinkard.

Thank you for your review. I am sorry to hear of the condition of the shoes that you received. They should certainly have been checked before dispatch and not sent out to you in this condition. I can see that when they were returned by you, that they were not put into re-sale and taken from our stock. We have let you down on this occasion and for this we are genuinely sorry. I apologise also that you thought that our response was scripted, each customer service operator deals with each customer to help with their enquiry and we are able to speak freely and without script, although some enquiries are similar and may require a similar reply. With regard to your reward points, these are put back for you, they attach to your email address in what is called an e-wallet and can be used online or in store. I can see that you are a regular customer of ours and have written to you in a seperate email with regard to this. The staff are always very helpful and friendly at the Newcastle upon Tyne store I have shopped here for years and always found the service very high standard .I used to be a retail manager myself so I appreciate good service . We often visit Childrens shoes for the measuring and all the staff go above and beyond to satisfy our needs .Both my daughters have girls and my two granddaughters get their shoes from the Eldon sq shop . The shoes ,lm very pleased with might have needed 1/2 size larger, but that’s the down side of buying on line wouldn’t except my voucher on payment through amazon not as good as my last purchase on line

Sadly the first pair of boots I ordered arrived faulty with a broken zip. After a phone call to CC I was sent a prepaid label to return them and a new pair arrived ( perfect this time) as soon as my proof of postage was confirmed. I was, however, disappointed that "quality control" had not picked up the fault before mailing which would have saved me a lot of upset and hassle.
