“Excellent service have used several times. Products well packaged and promptly delivered. They always stock my favourite brands or wide fitting shoes. They do seem expensive however they are well worth the money, wear straight out of the box beautifully made excellent quality!”

“Clinkards have got it right. They understand the value of great customer service. I always go to the Meadowhall store in Sheffield. The staff are so good. They’re friendly, well trained and professional. They make you feel they’re there to help and never pressure you into a sale. Special mention to Mark and Kelly. I think they’re a credit to Clinkards. What a team. On my last visit to the store Mark served my 96 year old Mum. We went away happy customers with a perfect pair of shoes and handbag and another pair ordered in store on line by Kelly. Clinkards always have loads of stock, and an extensive choice of quality brands So if you want excellent customer service and well stocked quality brands I highly recommend Clinkards. Their on line service is also very good and teturns, with swift refunds are never a problem.”

“Bought two pairs of Gabor items recently one pair of shoes £125 and the others were ankle boots £135. They were supposed to be leather but both pairs looked synthetic and extremely cheap. Really disappointed in the quality of the Gabor shoes you source. This isn’t the first time I have ordered Gabor shoes/boots and felt disappointed by quality which now appear to be an inferior product and for the price this is shocking! I will not be using CK again unfortunately.”

Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that you did not like the quality of these very popular items. I can assure you that they are leather and not synthetic. It may be the patent look that was not to your taste? We are the largest supplier of Gabor shoes in the UK and also have licence to run the Gabor Website, so you will see the same items on there too. There are many other brands available on the Charles Clinkard website should you decide to try a different brand, however if you do go elsewhere, we do hope that you find what you are looking for. “The shoes arrived boxed but one of the shoes was was scratched on the top leather I managed to polish it out so that it isn’t noticeable. Although I ordered the same size as my existing pair (45) these are are slightly larger and therefore loose so I have had to put an additional insole in the shoes to keep them on. I like the style of the shoes just a shame about the size inconsistency.”

Our customer service team on 0345 241 7742 would have been happy to exchange these for you should you have needed, however they should have been checked before dispatch and I am sorry that they were sent out like this. We sell many different brands of shoes, and they can differ slightly in size. The same brand (unless it is a different width) should measure the same length. “I absolutely LOVE the beautiful Gabor brown suede knee high women's boots I purchased! They are beautifully made, fit perfectly(!)and are exactly what I wanted. Further, I had emailed to ask whether this style contained latex or thiurams (am allergic); I received a very prompt response (they do not, hooray!). In less than a week after ordering, I now have my wonderful new boots! This is the 3rd or 4th purchase I have made from Charles Clinkard (even though I'm in the U.S.) and I couldn't be happier.”
