“The ankle boots I ordered arrived promptly and well packaged. The boots are high quality and fit well but unfortunately I will have to return them as the leather is too soft. Not most peoples' problem but I have to wear orthotics (they do fit as there are removable insoles) but my podiatrist says I need really stiff support around my ankles.”

“After buying some Mens shoes online that didn't suit I needed to return them, the returns information gave the option to drop off at a shop which I prefer as sometimes stuff goes missing with Royal Mail. The only shop near me in essex is about 30 miles away. On arrival the shop staff told me they did not accept retruns and i'd have to post them (the staff were very nice and helpful, not thier fault). I showed them on the reciept where it said i could return in shop but they still didn't take them, the assistant did call customer services for me which was nice. The information was incorrect and the returns process is rubbish imo, still waiting for reciept of return and refund. I won't use this lot again.”

Our main stores all take back returns, but we also some concessions stores within other stores and they cannot take back returns. I am sorry that you did not realise this. I have checked your refund and can see that this has been actioned so you should find all to be in order. “I prefer to physically see what I am buying so went to the Nottingham branch to see what they had in the way of navy blue loafers. I tried on several pairs but either too pale navy or the metal bit was silver [I wanted gold/gilt] so had to order the Zoe Anniversary style. Reasonably happy with them but I think the leather is not as soft as the other loafer styles: I also think the front will crease very quickly. They are more solid looking, so more of an autumn/winter shoe, rather than all season. However, they look very smart so I have great hopes for them.”
