“Firstly I thought the shoes looked lovely and sadly when I tried them on they were very tight so returned them. I have very wide feet and wish there was a better way of measuring feet before ordering allowing for different widths especially.”

“When my order arrived damaged with marks, I immediately called Charles Clinkard's helpdesk, who resolved the matter very quickly and easily. A courier delivered a replacement product before I had posted the damaged return. “I love the boots I bought. I ordered them via the website and they arrived promptly. I had the option to return via the Clinkard's shop near me but it wasn't necessary as they are what I wanted and it was good to be able to try them on with my outfit. I would have given another star however when I originally tried to buy the same boots in-store after a lot of waiting around I was incorrectly told that they were out of stock.”

“Generally really pleased with the service. They used DPD who are usually reliable, the order came more quickly than stated. I ordered two pairs the same in different colours and was able to return the unwanted pair to their Bristol store. Staff in the store were ABSOLUTELY LOVELY and so helpful. My only niggle is that the shoes have bows on them and the bows were a bit creased - as though someone had tried to pull them off. I didn't complain, frankly it's hassle that I don't need just now, but it was a little disappointing in new expensive shoes.”

“I was happy with Charles clinkard however I was not happy with the condition of the delivery, my berkenstock sandles were packed in a box & then in a plastic bag, the delivery was agreed to b left on my back doorstep & this wasn't a problem as it was a warm sunny day, however when I opened the plastic bag the box, tissue paper & sandles were wet through so at some point during leaving Charles clinkards & being delivered to me they av got severely wet, the box ad collapsed & the sandles were clearly wet, but they have dried out leaving no visible water mark damage so I am happy to keep them”
