“I ordered a pair of Reiker shoes over a weekend choosing next day delivery which cost me £5.99. There wasn’t anything on the order form preventing me or blocking me entering this option. However the shoes arrived several days later so I decided to contact the company asking for a reimbursement of the next day delivery charge of £5.99. I received an email stating that orders for next day delivery were for weekdays only and that I would not be reimbursed. I contacted them again and explained there was nothing on the order form stating this and if this was the case why did the order form allow me to choose next day delivery. I again asked for my reimbursement. I have not heard from the company since but I will endeavour to contact them again. The company Itself is very good with an excellent choice of shoes and I have purchased from them in the past without a hitch. I just wonder how they can blatantly inform me that a reimbursement will not be forth coming when I’ve paid for a service I didn’t receive. Very disappointing. My recommendation would be to order from them but only on week days.”

As with many retailers, Next Day Delivery applies to working days, Monday to Friday. Orders placed after the Friday cut-off, over the weekend, or on a bank holiday will be dispatched the next working day, with delivery following the day after. In this case, your order was placed over a bank holiday weekend, meaning dispatch was delayed slightly, but still within our promised timeframe.
