“Charity Job is a good way to find new staff. However the quality of replies and the number of applicants is very poor compared to pre pandemic levels. Why?”

“An efficient process and a helpful advice call from your team. The anonymisation we opted for did not work well, though - it was possible to see email addresses and names by moving the cursor over blanked out parts of some CVs. The use of fruit and veg names made the review of applications confusing because of the similarity of some pseudonyms, which were not individually memorable.”

“your work has been wonderful and helping me learn more about working in the charity sector and more about different good causes that you can even tell friends about and know about for future times wherever you are in physical space and in your life whatever things you are doing to help other like minded akin souls with good things they are doing, i have been trying to transfer all i am doing online from my dear old poor email address to my new email address, i am so glad for all your good work, though right now i am unemployed and have been unable to get wi-fi back where i am living although for friends trying to help me and i am in a very cold park doing things online before my laptop battery runs out, good wishes to you all and thanks”

“Good website. The staff are very helpful on the phone, when needed. I feel that the website tends to prioritise the needs of applicants over employers -- but maybe that leads to more applications. We are trying out the Application Manager system for the first time, with the thought that having everything in one place will help organise and streamline processes. The drawback is in making it a bit harder to use our person specification as the focus of applications (as we would on our own application form) which means we have to work even harder on fairer recruitment/equal opps.”

“It takes a little bit of getting used to but works very well once you get the hang of it. It is worth persevering with the intial set up. And when you have an account posting new job ads is quick and simple.”
