We have had no applications from our ad on Charity Job which is disappointing

Dear Jane, Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback, it’s greatly appreciated! I understand your CharityJob Account Manager, Jack Golding has now been in contact to advise that as of your ad’s expiration date, 2 applications were submitted via CharityJob and not zero as first believed. We understand this is not the number of applications you were hoping for and as such, Jack has advised on a satisfactory resolution should you need to re-advertise your vacancy with us. I have been advised that you have a couple of interviews lined up this week, and I wish you the very best of luck with successfully appointing someone. Best wishes, Beverley Devine Customer Service Manager

site easy to use but we only had 2 enquiries from this advert whilst we had many more from other sites we advertised on. Not cost effective for us

Dear Kirsteen, Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback, it’s greatly appreciated! It’s always very disappointing to hear that an ad has not performed as well as the recruiter had expected, and that you did not manage to eventually recruit via CharityJob. I understand your CharityJob Account Manager, Jules Keene did reach out to you on the 15th January just after your ad was posted, to offer advice on how to maximise your ads performance by potentially using one of more superior job packages, but I have been advised you were happy to proceed with advertising your vacancy on our Basic job package. As Jules has been unable to contact you via telephone to discuss your feedback, I understand she has followed up with an email instead. Jules would welcome the opportunity to discuss your ads performance stats, which I believe she has detailed in her email to you along with a comparison of our Basic v Branded ad performance stats. If you would like to discuss your ads performance in more details and at your earliest convenience, please feel free to reach out to Jules directly on 020 8939 8437. Best wishes, Beverley Devine Customer Service Manager

I was very disappointed with the number of applications we received. However the system is very easy to use.

Dear Naomi, Thanks for taking the time to leave us feedback, it's greatly appreciated! It's very disappointing to hear that your ad did not receive the number of applications you had expected. I understand your CharityJob Account Manager, Ishi Jordan has reached a few times to discuss this with you but, as she has been unable to make telephone contact, she has followed up with an email. As all CharityJob Account Managers seek to work collaboratively with their clients to ensure successful recruitment, and should you wish to advertise with us again in the future, please don't hesitate to contact Ishi for advice and guidance before making your ad live. Best wishes, Beverley Devine Customer Service Manager

I thought the advert was good value for Charity Jobs, CIOF and LinkedIn. However, I was promised weekly contact to discuss how the advert was attracting applications and that didn't happen.

Dear Kirstein, Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback, it’s greatly appreciated! I understand from speaking with your account manager, Sathya Mohan, that he did try unsuccessfully to contact you on several occasions after receiving your initial email to check in on your ad’s performance, but as he was unable to speak with you directly left a voicemail message instead. It appears you kept missing each other as Sathya had taken intermittent annual leave over several weeks. I’m glad to hear that you did eventually speak with Sathya and that you were pleased with your ad’s performance and successfully recruited to the role. For future reference, and should you advertise with us again and are unable to speak directly with your assigned account manager Sathya, please don’t hesitate to get in contact on 020 8939 8430 and one of our other account managers will be more than happy to help in his absence. Best wishes, Beverley Devine Customer Service Manager

I was very impressed by the support from Ben in the beginning, but not by the results. I got one hit in two weeks and I almost certainly won't be hiring that candidate. so all that money for nothing

I have received quite a few responses for the job but a lot of them were not appropriate which made me waste a lot of time

Dear Beatrice, Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback, it’s greatly appreciated! I have been advised Judith Jones; your assigned CharityJob Account Manager has been in contact with you to discuss the applications you received for your recent vacancy advertised with us. I understand the number of applications received was good, but the candidates who did apply were overly academically qualified and didn’t have the practical skills that the role required, so if you were to re-advertise your vacancy with us, Judith has advised to change the job title, add relevant screening questions and update the ad description and JD, all of which would reflect and focus on the more practical aspects of the role. I’m pleased to hear you were grateful for the call and for the advice given by our Senior Account Manager, Judith. Please don’t hesitate to get back in contact with Judith should you need further assistance in re-advertising this role or with any future advertising. I think the Charity Job site is easy to use and the staff are nice, but we are having trouble getting our jobs in front of the right people.

Hi Ceinwen, Thank you taking the time to leave us feedback, it's greatly appreciated! I believe Jules Keene has tried to call you on several occasions to discuss your ads performance, but as her attempts were unsuccessful, she has emailed you instead. As your ad stats were reasonably healthy but it would appear you did not reach the right candidates, Jules is very keen to speak with you to discuss this. At a convenient time for you , please contact Jules directly on 020 8939 8437. Best wishes, Beverley Devine Customer Service Manager

In spite of the adviser contacting me to tell me how to improve the advert and talking up the price, it ended up with the job description actually being hard to find. Overall we had a very low number of responses

Dear Rae, Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback, it’s greatly appreciated! I understand Sathya Mohan, your CharityJob Account Manager has been in touch to discuss your ads performance and what is currently a very challenging job market across all sectors. As Sathya advised and as your ad was only live for approximately 2 weeks, you are currently able to extend your ad for free should you wish to potentially garner more applications. And whilst you have not received the number of applications you were hoping for via CharityJob, I believe you have shortlisted 2 from those received. And by giving tips on proactively keeping good candidates engaged after they apply, Sathya was also able to address your concerns re candidates not showing up for interview. We wish you every success in appointing a candidate! Best wishes, Beverley Devine Customer Service Manager

We only got 2 applicants, and these only came through once we switched to allow applications through the Charity Job website directly (we ideally wanted them to come via our website).

Dear Kate, Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback, it’s greatly appreciated. I understand Jules Keene, your assigned CharityJob Account Manager has unsuccessfully tried to contact you via telephone on several occasions to discuss your review further with you, so has now made contact via email instead. Whilst we understand your frustration at not receiving the quantity of applications you’d hoped for, sadly, this is something more recruiters on all job boards across all sectors are seeing due to the current job market, so it is increasingly important to post your vacancy on a job package which gives it maximum visibility and prominence on our website. I have been informed whilst your ad generated 515 views and 16 clicks on apply on our Basic job package, Jules has advised you on the benefits of using our Enhanced job package compared to our Basic, which historically you have used, and which have previously worked well for you for similar roles. If you would like to discuss this further, please do not hesitate to contact Jules directly on 020 8939 8437. Best wishes, Beverley Devine Customer Service Manager

Dear Victoria, Thank you for taking time out of your day to leave us feedback. It is very pleasing to hear that you found the functionality of our website very easy to use, but equally disappointing to hear that you did not receive the calibre of applications you were hoping for and have not successfully recruited through us. Nicola Boyd, your CharityJob Account Manager has tried to contact you several times over the last few days to discuss the potential reasons for this, but as she was unable to speak to you, she has followed up with an email instead. I believe Nicola has explained the very competitive current job market and has advised potential solutions which would have resulted in more visibility and prominence of your vacancy, and the targeting of relevant candidates. If you would like to discuss this further with Nicola, please don’t hesitate to contact her directly on 020 8939 8439. Best wishes, Beverley Devine Customer Service Manager

The staff are very helpful and very responsive, the process to list is relatively easy. The only reason for not getting a higher star rating is that we haven't managed to recruit and so far (early days of relisting) and we are not getting many click throughs, although on the first round of recruitment we got just as many candidates and interviewable candidates from charityjob as indeed. Numbers were relatively low for both.

Dear Helen, thank you for taking the time to email us your feedback. We appreciate it’s a very challenging job environment for all recruiters and across all job boards now. However, if you email your charity name and said job title to info@charityjob.co.uk, I will have your Account Manager contact you so that we can help you to get the best possible response for your relisted vacancy. Best wishes, Beverley Devine (Customer Service Manager)

The people at CJ are nice but I've recruited through CJ four times now and always had a terrible response. I did get some helpful feedback from one of your employees but could really have done with it at the point of submission - that's what other job papers do in my experience.

Hi David, and thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. I understand your Account Manager has recently been in contact to discuss the potential reasons as to why you have not managed to recruit via our job board. If you do have future recruitment coming up and should wish to advertise with us again, I understand you have agreed to contact your Account Manager first for advice. Dear Brenda, I understand your account manager was in contact before posting your ad to advise on the best job package for your vacancy, and we're very sorry to hear that an alternative job package did not attract the number of applications you were hoping for. However, it is very pleasing to hear that you received good customer service from our staff, and we thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. Best wishes, Beverley

I've used the 'easy apply' function for the first time, but while it saves time with anonymising it would be even better if the cover letter is also in a downloadable format.
