Dear Suzanne, Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback, it’s greatly appreciated! It’s very disappointing to hear that despite your ad receiving over 1,500 views and 17 clicks on apply, that these did not convert into applications . I understand your CharityJob Account Manager, Ishi Jordan has now been in contact and extended the ad for you, advised on some tweaks to make to the ad to enhance its performance and will also be given you a follow up call this week. I do hope the above steps now help you to successfully recruit via CharityJob. Best wishes, Beverley Devine Customer Service Manager

Used this website twice now for recruitment and no results. As a charity, the board has decided not to use them in future campaigns.

Dear Bill, Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback, it’s greatly appreciated! After speaking with your CharityJob Account Manager Jack Golding, I understand your ad was posted on the 13/02/24 and after checking over your ad, Jack called on both the 14/02 & 20/2 to speak to someone as he had some advice on how to optimise its performance. As Jack was unable to speak with someone on both occasions, I have been advised he left messages requesting a call back. Since the receipt of your feedback, I believe Jack has called again on several occasions to discuss extending the ad for free and then increasing its reach, but as again he has been unsuccessful in making direct contact, has now followed this up with an email. Please feel free to get in contact with Jack on 020 8481 0655 if you would like to speak with him directly. Best wishes, Beverley Devine Customer Service Manager

Dear Andrew, Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback, it’s greatly appreciated! I’m very sorry to hear that your vacancy did not attract the number of applications you were hoping for. I can see from the account call notes that your CharityJob Account Manager, Chris Sparkes did try and contact you on the 29th January but unfortunately was unsuccessful, and I can only apologise that no further contact was attempted after this date. I understand Chris has now reached out to you and that you have agreed to readvertise your role with us after utilising the advice Chris has given. Moving forward, Chris will continue to monitor your ads performance and has diarised to make weekly contact to ensure your vacancy attracts the quantity of relevant applications you had expected first time around. Best wishes, Beverley Devine Customer Service Manager

We didn't get any interest and didn't receive any advice to improve the appeal. For the cost this was disappointing.

Dear Suzanne, Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback, it’s greatly appreciated! I'm very sorry to hear that the number of clicks on apply your ad received did not translate into candidate applications. I understand your CharityJob Account Manager, Ishi Jordan was on annual leave during your ads life cycle which I believe contributed to the lack of communication, so I can only apologise for this! I believe Ishi has now been in contact with you to advise on the potential reasons which could have contributed to its overall performance and has given suggestions on how to improve the performance of your current live ad and will monitor this moving forward. I believe you now have Ishi’s direct contact details and as our account managers enjoy working collaboratively with their clients, please do not hesitate to contact her should you need further advice or assistance. The very best of luck with your current recruitment! Best wishes Beverley Devine Customer Service Manager

We tried charity jobs to diversify from LinkedIn and wanted to get more focused applicants from the charity sector. Unfortunately we barely got any applicants.

Dear David, Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback, it’s greatly appreciated! It’s very disappointing to hear that you did not receive the number and calibre of candidate applications you were hoping for, and I understand your CharityJob Account Manager, Ishi Jordan has been in contact with you to discuss this. As I believe Ishi advised, it remains a very candidate-driven job market and many recruiters across all sectors are currently struggling to recruit. On a positive note, it’s great to hear that as a previous candidate using CharityJob, you were able to secure your current role! The very best of luck with your recruitment for this role and with future recruiting. Best wishes, Beverley Devine Customer Service Manager

Dear Christine, Thank you for taking the time to email us with your feedback, it’s greatly appreciated! I have been informed Mathew Warrington, your CharityJob Account Manager has been in contact with you to discuss the potential reasons for your ad’s underperformance. I believe the ad was only live for a short period (2 weeks) compared to the normal 30 days which would have an impact on the number of applications received, and that the job title could have been more generic to ensure it pulled back in relevant candidate search results. I understand your ad did receive a good number of clicks on apply, but candidates were asked to contact you via email or phone to obtain an application pack, so this may have also affected the number of candidates willing to proceed with the application process. CharityJob Account Managers welcome the opportunity to work collaboratively with their clients, so should you choose to advertise with again in the future, please feel free to contact Mathew first to ensure the best possible advice is obtained to ensure the ad performs at its best. We wish you every success in recruiting for this role! Best wishes, Beverley Devine Customer Service Manager

Dear Wendy, Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback, it’s greatly appreciated! As Fundraising is one of the most popular categories on our website as many recruiters are looking for a great fundraiser, I understand Sathya Mohan, your dedicated CharityJob Account Manager contacted you shortly after your ad went live at the beginning of February and again today. I believe Sathya explained on both occasions the importance of ensuring your ads visibility on our website in such a competitive area of expertise and advised on the most effective job packages and other products we offer to promote your vacancy to a bigger and relevant pool of candidates. And whilst I understand budget is always a key factor in selecting the product to advertise your vacancy on, I am pleased to hear you are now going to discuss the advice given with your manager before potentially advertising your vacancy with us again. I wish you every success with your future recruitment. Best wishes, Beverley Devine Customer Service Manager

Dear Rachel, Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback. I understand Chris Sparkes, your CharityJob Account Manager has now successfully managed to contact you after a few unsuccessful previous attempts. I believe Chris did advise you of the very difficult job market at present, which is affecting not just CharityJob, but all recruitment across all sectors. Chris has advised you may consider readvertising your finance role with us if you do not successfully recruit via applications you have already received, and if indeed you do, you will have the full support of Chris first to ensure a successful outcome second time around. I’m also very pleased to hear you have once again taken advantage of the free service we offer for volunteer advertising and that Chris has made your previous volunteer ad live again for you. Charity job made an error in the closing date of the job. I'd done the sift as I thought the application period had closed then got more applications in over the weekend and had to reopen it. This has affected the timescales for our process and caused us extra admin, as well as making us not look organised to applicants

Hi Marilyn, Thank you for taking the time you to email us your feedback. I understand your Account Manager, Judith Jones was in contact with your colleague Jess to offer advice on your job posting, so it is very disappointing to hear that you still did not receive the number of applications you were hoping for. The current job market is very job heavy and candidate short across all sectors, and we believe this to have had an impact on your overall job performance. Should you choose to advertise with us again, please do not hesitate to contact Judith before making the ad live, and to arrange the monitoring of your ad’s performance throughout its duration. Best wishes, Beverley Devine Customer Service Manager

Dear Louisa, Thank you for taking the time to email us your feedback. I understand Judith Jones, your CharityJob Account Manager has been in contact to advise on some factors which may have had an impact on your overall ad performance, and it has been agreed that should you wish to advertise with us again in the future, you will first give Judith a call so that she can give you some pointers on how to maximise the ad reach resulting in the number of application you would expect. Best wishes, Beverley Devine (Customer Service Manager)
