“The light fitting we have bought for our landing is really perfect. Having said that the free lightbulbs (thanks) are a bit too bright so we may change those. However our electrician says he had not seen tiffany shades used in this way before it looks light olde worlde horn really lovely in a lantern shade. It satisfied my dislike of being able to see light bulbs but also as it has no solid base there is a sufficient down light for the stairs. Castlegate are really very efficient with letting you know delivery details. I was also able to ask quetions on line which helped my choice.”

“We found a wall light with perfect colours to match the new decor in the living room. Delivery was prompt and though a little lightweight (very thin glass) all was appropriate for the price we paid. Only negative was the fitting instructions. Pictorial only with no advice for the DIYer (and quite small) and having tested the light I then found it very difficult to remove the live wire. Once fixed in position the live connection now feels much less secure. We'll see how it goes but overall we're satisfied.”

“I was a bit apprehensive as I found the site through Google. I read good reviews and thought I'd go ahead and order. I decided to phone direct.I was waiting for some sort of automated answer machine to start speaking to me, but I was pleasantly greeted by a human - a lovely lady. I ordered my lights, but needed to know they would arrive by the weekend, so the customer service lady said she will speak to the supplier of the lights and call me back straight away. The answer was yes, but I then had an apologetic call half hour later to say the supplier would be at a fair so I wouldn't be able to receive my lights until Tuesday. This wasn't an issue as it was no fault of castle lights, but just human error by the lighting supplier. The lights arrived on Tuesday carefully packed. Very happy with the price and fantastic quality. Will definitely revisit the site again for future purchases.”
