On this occasion the 'compatible' with HP 5742 officejet colour cartridge was noticeably poor. I have cleaned and re-set the cartridges (using lots of ink and paper) but still have white lines in print output. Never had this before - but the cartridge seems to be a different manufacture.

I can confirm that these are the correct cartridges for your printer. We do have a no quibble warranty in place for such things. The cartridge was not compatible even though it said it was. Spent a very frustrating morning trying to get my printer to work until I realised it was the cartridge.

Re Order GB161107-lA1758255 I Purchased a HP 110 CB304A cartridge original which only prints Yellow & Red no Blue or Black. I Would like a replacement cartridge will you please send me one as soon as possible. Thank you Mr M Russell

Let us start with the positive. The delivery was reasonably quick, though it was split over two days - not sure why 3 ink cartridges had to be split over 2 days. The ink cartridges were obviously new as expected. Now, unfortunately, the not so good bits. I had bought the 3 ink pack thinking it would be cheaper that way. Only later when I checked amazon prices, I noticed that it would actually have been cheaper if I had bought those cartridges separately at amazon. I requested to price match as per price promise. However, I was told that Cartridge People does not price match market place items. I confirmed that I was not asking to match a market place item, but the price at which amazon was selling the cartridge themselves. This, however, did not cut any mustard. Disappointed and unlikely to use again.

The price for the goods was competitive.what lets the company down is having to wait so long for delivery 8 days for part of the order.also other companies pack so that the goods fit through a letterbox or ask you on the order form if the parcel can be left any w here I have a paper wheelie bin near my front door and orders can be left safely in there. Also both of the parcels were returned to the gpo sorting office for me to collect unfortunately the office is open 7am to 12 noon.i go to work at 6.55 and don't finish until 12.10 so had to ask someone else to collect

The items took too long to arrive. I'm better off using Amazon where I get next day delivery. When you need Ink Cartridges, you don't want to wait 3 days for them to arrive.

The HP934XL is not compatible. Staff were helpful but after 3 calls with unsuccessful resolution, I requested a refund of my supposed compatible cartridge. It was no quibble (I haven't yet checked if its gone through). My real annoyance was being told I had a discount against the purchase of genuine HP cartridges, which seemed only fair after the considerable inconvenience, but then I found that it didn't work. When I rang to enquire I was told firmly that the price on the website was already discounted so it wouldn't work. All in all an unsatisfactory experience.

I can confirm that you have be refunded in full for the cartridge that was faulty. Black ink cartridges took three days before I received them. Colour ink cartridges took eight days after ordering them before I received them. Not at all satisfactory, and I was a first time buyer!

I ordered cartridges on 20.10.16 and they arrived 08.11.16. Not very impressive, as I had to go to Tesco during that period to buy some as they had not arrived from you., You have possibly lost a customer.

On receiving my order i attempted to install the cartridge but found the printer did not recognise it. Not happy at all, just wasted time and money. so will have to buy genuine ink cartridges.

After several years of completely satisfactory products from Cartridge People, I have sadly parted company from them, as their cartridges for (my new Epson XP-530 printer) were "not recognized". As a retired computer technician, I fitted them properly and did the usual checks, contacted them, but still did not resolve the issue. To their credit, they fully refunded the money. They are a decent and courteous company. I am very sad to stop dealing with them. I get the impression that it is cheaper for them to offer no quibble refunds than to fully research their products before sale, obviating the need for testing their products on the relevant printers. This might be true of similar companies, I do not know. I just want cartridges which work first time !

I am sorry to hear that our compatible ink cartridges have not worked in your printer. All our products are manufactured to the highest standards, and sourced only from manufacturers with exacting standards, many holding ISO9000/9001/9002 quality and ISO 14001 environmental standards. For compatible products, ink/toner quality and life span are comparable to that of the branded manufacturers. Compatible remanufactured cartridges are all print tested prior to leaving our manufacturers. However, we do offer our guarantee as we are aware that manufacturers update printers firmare to prevent the use of compatible ink. Firmware/software updates can tell the printer how to communicate, how to move motors, fire nozzles and most important of all, how to recognise original vs’ compatible (non-original) cartridge chips. Unfortunately some manufacturers are now are updating printers automatically, so unless you turn the auto updates off on the printer, these will take place without you having to do anything. By using compatible or remanufactured cartridges you are cutting into the manufacturer’s primary source of profit. Because of this, they update firmware which may interfere with the printer operations if using compatible or remanufactured cartridges. Firmware on the printer can then produce the message regarding low or zero ink levels if the machine detects a cartridge that is not a manufacturer's original cartridge. It can on occasion prevent the printer from accepting the cartridges completely. It is a good idea to block the automatic installation of new printer firmware versions to avoid these issues. This can be done by following the procedure in your printer manual.
