I was at home at the alleged time of delivery but never heard a door bell ring. Then received an e-mail saying delivered to a neighbour accompanied by a message saying left at a pick up point 0.7 miles away. Had a lot of trouble identifying drop off point . Nearest point a Morrisons shop at top of road at Post Office on same opremnises. It was not thee. Next point a petrol station in Hoylake. It was not there but they told me a different Petrol Statione in the opposite direction a long way from my house. Eventually got it there. As I cannot drive at prersent I had to do a lot of walking! I paid extra for next day delivery. It was not delivered nest day.

Thank you for your review and I am sorry you feel this way. I understand you are disappointed not to receive your order the next day but as you placed the order at nearly 10pm, I'm afraid there was no one here at that time of night to pick, pack and dispatch it. Thank you for your comments though.

very disappointed and frustrated. Ordered 4 new HP genuine toners. Received a call from Cartridge People saying that they would offer a discount if I would go for the matching toners with HP chip and would excellent quality. Firstly received only 3 toners that fitted my printer. Secondly, very fiddly to install as when I pulled the plastic strip I got full of colour powder. Thirdly my printer still doesn't recognise the toners and is saying that they are empty.....I say, where is the HP chip? This is horrible service, product and not even 1 phone number works to call them back. Very disappointing and still waiting for their response and 4th toner to fit the machine

I have had great service from you in the past, but sadly not this time. I ordered the right make of cartridges for my printer, but the invoice showed a different make. Unfortunately I didn't pick this up as, the moment I had placed the order, I had a phone call, email and voicemail inviting me to buy the XL version of your "compatible" cartridge, at an extra £7. The compatible cartridge (for the wrong make) didn't fit in my machine, which I only found out when I tried to load it. And because I had opened the vacuum packaging, you would not refund me the cost. I hate to say this, but I will not be using you again.

Unfortunately, as previously advised we are unable to accept items that are opened to our warehouse as we would be unable to sell them. I would advise to try to sell them on or recycle them. Recently ordered HP deskjet 413 cartridges and they don't work in my printer put the old ones back in and they work - ordered a new printer as that comes with cartridges !!

After ordering 2 x original Samsung Toner cartridges, I received a phone call from Cartridge People saying that their compatible cartridges are very good and do not leak toner, so I was talked into giving them a try.......what a mistake and waste of money that was. After persevering for 4 x months I have given up and put them in the bin. I have put up with toner leaking out of the compatible cartridges all over the paper being printed plus all over the inside of my printer, which I have now had to replace. Do NOT buy compatible cartridges, stick with the originals.

I have two HP printer and both have Cartridge People own brand cartridges installed. This morning both have gone wrong. The funny thing is one of them has a hp cartridge in and its working fine. Not very happy that cant be sprted and all I have been offered is a replacement or refund. It doesent help small businesses...looks like Im going to have to go back to HP originals and swallow the price. Thanks cartridge people

The cartridgrs didnt fit my machine as the seller who called had said they would. So i asked for a fefund and theywanted me to jump thru hoops to get a refund. I later dealt with LUCY A . Who sorted my refund out without quibble as it was clear the cartridges werent compatible for my machine

Evri their couriers delivered to the wrong house not mine but did not address the problem . They told me to ask for my money back. I tophoned Cartidge People to find out where my goods were. They told me the house number and to go to the house and collect them!! I resfused and got my money back. I bought cheaper on Amazon and with a delivery the next day.

Avoid:Offers Cheap Prices at the Cost of Quality and Service Initial Purchase and Expectations I recently purchased a BROTHER label printer from cartridgepeople, attracted by its advertised features of wireless printing and battery operation. The company offered the printer at a slightly cheaper price than other retailers, which seemed like a good deal at the time. Unfortunately, my experience with both the product and the company's customer service was far from satisfactory. Product Issues Upon receiving the printer, I quickly discovered that the WiFi functionality was not working as expected. I had chosen this model specifically for its supposed ability to print wirelessly and run on battery power, as it was crucial for my needs. However, the printer can’t print by battery. Dealing with Customer Service The day after receiving the product, I emailed them to report the issue. Instead of offering a direct solution or replacement, they instructed me to contact the BROTHER to handle the claim. This was disappointing, as I expected the company from which I purchased the product to assist directly with such issues. Manufacturer’s Response After reaching out to BROTHER, their technician initially confirmed that the printer was faulty. I was hopeful that this would lead to a straightforward resolution. However, to my frustration, they later called back to inform me that the printer was functioning as designed. The explanation was perplexing: although it was marketed as a battery-operated printer, it could not actually print wirelessly on battery power alone. The printer required AC power to turn on before it could switch to battery mode. The Back-and-Forth Confusion Confused by the conflicting information, I once again contacted cartridgepeople. They communicated with BROTHER and eventually confirmed that the printer was indeed faulty. This back-and-forth took three days, leaving me without a clear understanding of whether the product met my initial expectations. Lack of Support and Misleading Information Before attempting to return the product, I expressed my frustration that the printer did not match the description and was not performing as advertised. The response from cartridgepeople Technical Support was dismissive. They stated that they don't list out what a product can't do and insisted that since the product was not technically "faulty," I should return to the manufacturer for any issues. This statement highlights their lack of helpfulness and unwillingness to assist customers beyond the sale. It became clear that they were only interested in selling the product, not supporting it or ensuring customer satisfaction. I raised a question: if I need an AC power source to use the printer, what is the point of it being battery-operated in the first place? The whole concept of a battery-powered printer is to provide portability and convenience in locations where AC power is not available. The product failed to meet this basic expectation, but they don’t think this is an issue. Return Process and Policy Issues Given the misleading product description and the initial confirmation of a fault, I decided to return the printer. I expected a straightforward return process, especially since the item was not as described. However, cartridgepeople refused to accept my return, claiming it was an "unwanted item" rather than a faulty product. The company spent three days trying to determine the fault but expected me, as a customer, to know all these technical details before purchase. They also informed me that any return could result in a reduction of up to 25% of the refund if the product was not in perfect resale condition. Refund Disappointment Despite returning the product in its original condition and meeting all the criteria, cartridgepeople still deducted 25% from my refund simply because the product had been opened, no matter how good the condition, even though all the sample tape was unopen. They argued that an opened item couldn’t be resold at full price, which I found unreasonable given that the issue was not with my usage but rather with the misleading product claims. Throughout the return process, they kept emphasizing that the product was not faulty and that accepting my return was merely a goodwill gesture. It felt as though they were more interested in earning money from deductions than ensuring customer satisfaction. The email correspondence did mention a maximum 25% deduction, which, in this scenario, was the only saving grace as their website warned of deductions up to 100%. I can't help but feel that if the email hadn’t capped the deduction, I might have faced an even larger loss. Conclusion While they may offer products at a slightly lower price than competitors, you might end up losing more money in the long run.

Regarding the customer service you received, we regret, if you felt there was lack of direct assistance in resolving the issue. Manufacturers offer direct end-user support and deal with warranty claims direct as part of our agreement with them. This can help save you time by handling your query directly with them. Also, their staff are trained more specifically on their own products and will be more aware of how to resolve issues or support any questions you may have, more than ourselves. Although we do offer support, most of the time the manufacturer's own staff will be aware of possible problems and will have a resolution ready for you. We also apologise for the confusion caused by conflicting information from BROTHER regarding the printer's functionality. We understand the frustration this must have caused you. We regret that you felt dismissed from our Technical Support team. It is not our intention to do this with our customers after the sale, we always try and offer the best solution, and in this case, it was to do direct to the manufacturer. Regarding the return process, we are sorry for any inconvenience you faced and for the misunderstanding about whether the printer was classified as an "unwanted item" or a “faulty product”. We understand that the product did not meet your expectations but as it was not faulty - as described by brother, we still offered to get the item back at a reduced price. We would never prioritise deductions over customer satisfaction, hence we accepted the item back. Your feedback is valuable to us, and we actively work on addressing issues to provide a better experience for our customers. Thank you once again for bringing these matters to our attention. Since contacting the Cartridge People with my complaint, I was contacted by them to say that I will be refunded for the cartridges that were rejected by our HP printer as soon as they receive the unopened cartridges which I just posted to them, so i now await the refund when I will update my review to reflect their further help

I ended up giving this BRAND NEW AND UNUSED PRINTER to my local church because this company refused to take it back as the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulation 2000 which came into effect on 31 October, 2000 said they should. Don't buy anythng from this company. They are untrustwothy and dishonourable.

Service was great but complete false economy. Toner cartridge has leaked contaminating the cartridge tray, transfer roller and obviously multiple prints. Significant time required to make best of it but now can only use that printer for internal low value work.
