The very strong and disgusting smell of cigarette smoke that is felt as soon as I enter the car and makes me feel sick.

Our rubber mats do have a slight odour but this will fade once the mats have been out of the packaging for a few days. If it doesn't then please try leaving the mats in direct sunlight. This place is an absolute joke. Almost £130 and still not mats. First set i got were the cheapest of cheap quality and they failed to personalised them, they claimed it was an error and would re send. Said they re sent but carrier was unable to deliver due to restrictions, this is despite the carrier delivering to us on an almost daily basis. I said ok i will collect them, not possible as they will take up to 6 weeks for carrier to return. We will make you some more........... Same old story the carrier has apparently lost them this time. To make things worse they dont have phones so you cant call them and they WONT call you. Feel as if i have just been fed a pack of lies over the last several weeks, awaiting what i hope will be a prompt refund. Worst online experience ever.

Hi Chris Thank you for leaving a review and for your order. I know our team have apologised repeatedly via email but please do once again accept our apologies for the number issues with your order. The original order did suffer from a technical issues which meant that just black Motor mat with no personalisation was sent out, rather than the Elite mat ordered. We corrected this and manufactured a replacement set which unfortunately our courier was unable to deliver. We are unsure as to why in this instance and they are returning the order to us. The first replacement correct order is on on the way back to us, unfortunately this can take a few weeks which is why our team wanted to send out a new set, to ensure the mats reached you as soon as possible rather than making you wait several weeks, it could be 6 weeks. The second replacement set was dispatched on the evening of the 7th February as per the dispatch email you have received and are currently with the courier. All being well these should be delivered in the next few days. This set of mats has not been lost. I know you've been in touch with our team who have also refunded you as a gesture of goodwill.

I have to give * because I haven't had my mats yet. I ordered on the 11 January. Today is the 27 January, still no mats. A deciding factor in buying from Car Mats was reviews which said "quick delivery". I'm still waiting. This company uses Evri for their deliveries, so be warned. If it's Evri, don't go ahead. Evri can't be contacted direct and don't want to know about customer service. I'll be happy to write another review when and if I ever get my mats. For now, I wish I'd gone to Halfords.

Ordered mats following their process by entering car reg number and they sent the wrong mats they said there was 4 different types but they had the car reg number so how did they get it wrong to make matters worse I asked for a replacement set and they said I would have to pay a further 60% when it’s their fault terrible service and a terrible company

Hi Tony Thank you for your order and for leaving a review. I'm sorry to hear about the issue with your mats. As you've noted, you ordered mats for a Corsa Electric whereas your son has a normal Corsa, this is the reason the mats do not fit. Your mats have been customised with your son's name embroidered on them and as such the order is not eligible for a return as we have supplied the product that was ordered. Our team have offered a substantial discount as a goodwill gesture on a replacement set for the correct vehicle but you have chosen not to take us up on this.

MY ADVICE IS STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. Placed the order on the 5th January over £100 on CarMats Website, on the 12th I had to chase for an update. They apologised and said there was a problem with the order, it was resolved and a new delivery date was given, now the 26th Jan, as there was no communication I chased again, only to be told the order has been lost in there factory or system. Seems like nobody cares, Correspondence below. (CarMats.co.uk) 13 Jan 2023, 13:16 GMT Hi Kevin, Thanks for your reply. Apologies for any confusion. I emailed you yesterday 12/01/23 12:21 and said that it was unlikely that we would get the mats to you for Tuesday. You responded to say Tuesday would be fine so my colleague replied 12/01/23 15:48 to confirm that the mats would not arrive by Tuesday. She then confirmed that the likely delivery date would be the 26th Jan and asked if you still wished to go ahead. At this point we are going ahead with your order. Please let us know if you need any further assistance. Thanks for your order and email. I can only apologies the order has not been shipped yet. I have checked and have been unable to locate the order in our system. I think the order has been lost within the factory. Apologies again for this. Order NumberCM-239821-S

Your original order came to us with some trademarked text requested for the embroidery, the team noticed this and asked you what you would like instead. Once we had this information our team updated the order but a computer glitch stopped your order from progressing. Disgusting customer service and what an unorganised company. We are now on the 5th attempt to either deliver or re-manufacture the mat. It was originally ordered in December. Not even sorry, no compensation offered - avoid this company if you want a good product delivered on time.

Hi Stephen Thank you for your order and for leaving a review. I'm sorry to hear about your experience and the delay with delivery. I've looked into the issue, you are correct that we have sent your order out three times in total, some of which are showing as delivered but you haven't received them. The issue we suspect is the address, "Building Site Next to Primark" - this has probably caused an issue with the courier finding where to leave the parcel. Please accept our apologies that this wasn't spotted earlier, if it had been we would have requested an alternative address. We've agreed to send out the order for a fourth time to an alternative address which should be with you shortly.

Not happy at all. Out of pocket in returning non fit mats which they suppose to fit, extra charges incurred of wrong postage weight stated by carmatsuk. Issue completely ignored. Won't be using them again.

Thank you for your order and for leaving a review. We're sorry to hear about the issues with return postage charges. We don't cover return postage unless the product is faulty. In this case the mats purchased were for a different model, other than the model of your vehicle. The website didn't state that these would fit your vehicle. The extra charges were incurred by your return courier and not ourselves so unfortunately we're unable to assist with this.

I bought some matts for new vehicle and opted for the 'super' for as they say a 'high-quality look and feel'. 'Thick and exclusive'. The matts are anything but! They are as thin and hard with little to no pile maybe 1mm at best they feel super cheap and poorly constructed. I contacted customer service asume they had sent the wrong ones but they assured me the matts were correct. If Dan from customers service is to be believed the matts are nothing like advertised and the 20p imagine is completely false as as you can see from the picture they are completely different from the one shown on the website. I would avoid this company and purchase your matts elsewhere. They have refused to return the product despite it being not as advertised so I will forced to do a chargeback. I can seem to submit the review with the picture of my 20p but i will try again when its up but it barley goes in at all to the matt.

The mats you've received are the correct mats purchased, the coin image on the website shows the 20p weighted down to ensure the full height of the pile is shown in the image. As the pile is so tight it's impossible to do this any other way. I know you've spoken to our team who are sending out a replacement in a higher quality grade as a gesture of goodwill.

Customer service next to none all via email delivery waiting over 2weeks and still no idea when I will get them so my car is getting mucked up will never use them again and asked for a refund

The mats themselves are excellent quality, i already own a rubber set for my partners car and went on & ordered a set for mine, however, i ordered the second set on the 27th of November 2022 - it is now the 18th Jan 2023 and i have still not received them. Carmats unfortunately uses hermes/evri to deliver and despite me offering to pay extra for another courier to be used, they refused I might get my rubber off road car mats in time for the bad weather finishing but who knows ? Attached is a picture of a goat up a tree as it is about as useful as Hermes

Ordered my daughter some car mats before Xmas as a gift. Still not arrived. I have sent multiple emails with no one reply. Just sent another one. But not holding my breath. That’s nearly £30.00 gone out of pocket. So no delivery & no customer service

Wish i could give 0 star but i cannot unfortunately. Long story short, i bought some mats that they advertised will fit all Mokka's 2020+ however, they didn't fit the electric Mokka. I pointed this out and they refused to accept liability. They told me the £20 mats were custom made so cannot be refunded. Even if they were custom made (doubtful for the cost, just because i picked the trim color) the fault was theirs. Its not like i wanted to return them for a full refund. i wanted to send them back and swap them for the correct mats and was happy (at the time) to still trade with them. However, they then tried to say that their website didn't say the mats fitted All Mokka's and just the petrol and diesel versions listed (the website actually stated, and i quote "These fit All Versions of the Vauxhall Mokka 2020+ including...). I thought that they must not realise what the website actually states so I sent them a screenshot of this and to my surprise they still denied it said this. I felt i had a duty of care (to them and the wider public) to help them witht their grammar so I shared the Oxford dictionary entries for the meanings of "All" and "including" but still they didn't accept responsibility. They said they were not accepting them back but i could have a discount of 40% from my next mats. Never going to use again. Looking at reviews they may be a good company to deal with (i cant attest to this im just assuming from reviews)if they get it right but what i can attest to is that they are a terrible company if they get it wrong. Be warned! Seems they felt £20 mats was worth a bad review so here it is! Happy to provide email transcripts to anyone requesting too.

There are specific mats for the Electric Mokka, as this vehicle has a different floorplan to the petrol & diesel model. We try to make the website as clear as possible as to which product is correct for each vehicle, and we work very hard on this. In this instance we believe the website was clear enough which is why our team offered a 40% discount on a replacement, rather than replacing for free. I see that you tried to negotiate with our team to a 50% discount for a replacement and free next day delivery, we were unable to deliver the next day as our mats are made to order. We apologise that you were left unhappy with your experience of using our company.

Ordered the large boot mat for a zafira tourer 2015 and they have sent the small one,emailed and no reply. Won't be using these again!!!!

I wouldn’t recommend purchasing from this website. I believed them to be a car mat specialist however what I received was very much the opposite. You have to enter your registration plate to get the correct mark of the car which I did. I was purchasing a birthday present for my partner whose birthday was a week before Christmas. The order arrived and it’s a good job I checked them before gifting them as every single mat had stitching out of place (which I could of coped with and would of kept the mats), however each mat was also scuffed too proving that they’d been used. Therefore, the website stating that these mats are made from scratch specifically for your car is rubbish. When contacted, customer service didn’t want to help me much at all. I enquired how this had even happened in the first place and they told me they’d pass it on to the warehouse manager to find out the reason so I told them I was keen to be updated. I was told a new order would be sent out and they gave me a £5 refund for a “ good will gesture”. My new order came and the mats were the wrong ones. But I was told that on the website it does state you can receive either ones yet the photo on the website shows the one style. I was not kept updated with how it happened, my new order didn’t arrive until the 23rd of December. Luckily before Christmas but not for my partners birthday. I wouldn’t recommend purchasing as for a car mat specialist they are not professional at all and don’t want to help when the fault is their own.

All our mats are made to order, which is how you were able to customise your mats to have a grey trim. We're assuming the scuffs happened within our factory on, most likely, the concrete floor. I know you spoke to our team and we arranged for a replacement set to be sent out as you've mentioned. The replacement set are made from checkerplate rubber rather than penny rubber, we normally produce from penny but do switch to checkerplate if we're running out of stock of penny. This is what happened just before Christmas. We note this on the website product pages, although you are correct that the photos are of penny rubber. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience caused.

Delivery took a long time, ordered 6/12 and arrived 21/12. Quality of carpets not as expected for a "Superior" product and do not look anything like the advertised product. stitching around edging is poor. Could have picked up a similar quality product for half the price from Halfords. Unfortunately CarMats not prepared to offer any discount or suggest refund/free return.

The matts seem poor quality compared to other brands I’ve bought before. And the matts were for the correct model but is just little too big. They also tried to kill me I was driving and caught on the clutch and accelerator multiple times so took them out straight away.

Ordered our mats 21st Nov. Drivers mat does not fit correctly. Too small and fixings incorrect position. Dangerous to use. Still waiting for the correct replacement. No telephone number available and company difficult to communicate with.
