They are very very light and very thin a bit of a shock when the package arrived how light it was as the car mats they are replacing are at least twice as thick and three times heavier. I have left the original mats in and will only use these as a spare in case of emergencies

The rubber car mats I purchased from CarMats.co.uk have been a significant disappointment due to their overpowering smell. Upon opening the package, I was hit with a strong, synthetic odour that was reminiscent of cheap plastic. Despite the claims of high quality, the mats reeked of chemicals, making it unbearable to have them in my car. I had hoped that the smell would dissipate over time, as some reviews suggested, but weeks later, the odour remains just as intense. It’s not just an unpleasant scent; it has made driving uncomfortable, and I find myself constantly rolling down the windows to air out the vehicle. Additionally, I attempted to clean the mats using various methods recommended online, including warm, soapy water and letting them air out in the sun, but nothing worked effectively. The persistent smell detracts from the overall functionality of the mats, which, while sturdy and well-fitted, are rendered nearly unusable due to this issue. Overall, I would advise potential buyers to think twice before purchasing rubber mats from CarMats.co.uk, especially if you are sensitive to strong odours. The quality of the mats may be acceptable, but the overwhelming smell is a significant drawback that overshadows their practicality.

Found this company with an ad on facebook. I needed a set of mats for my wifes and the other car. From the reviews it looked good. I opted for the "Grand" mats as they were the best seller. They arrived and the shape is perfect. However, they are not thick as I would have expected given the price point at £48.24 for a set. Even though its currently reduced on their site to £34.99, it is still a lot of money. The mats themselves are thin comparing to the existing mats that were in the car. I had a set made from Halfords before and they were a lot better in terms of thickness and price point was similar. Do not trust or believe some of the reviews. I am a bit surprised as to how this company has so many positive reviews and I question whether they are genuine or not. Either way, I do feel I've wasted £70 on two sets of mats that are sub par and in my view not worth the money.

We do offer thicker qualities that you may have been happier with. With discount you've paid £31.49 per set, including delivery which we think is a very competitive price. Halfords do sell thicker mats (as do we) but on Halfords they are a very similar price to on our website, if not more expensive. All our reviews are genuine, we do not pay for fake reviews. Mats for most of the vehicle OK but front ones have spaces for clips that are not there Drivers mat slides all over the place. Not impressed or happy.

Our mats comes with the clips in the mat for use with the clips that are already in your vehicle. If these aren't present then they would need sourcing from your local dealer.

Bought these mats last year and very disappointed. They were lively but it wasn't long before they moved around the footwell of my car. And also the heel padded bit has completely come off on the drivers side. I don't use my car much and am dismayed that this has happened. Hence only 2 stars.

There was huge delay in the delivery time, well above what they declared. I ordered rubber mats "offroad". Rubber quality is good, however if they are specifically for mud and dirt, they should be finished with an edge that would keep a dirt inside the mats. I have also from them a traditional "super" mats for this car. These are really great when it is coming to the quality.

Hi Marc Thank you for your order & for leaving a review. The Off Road Rubber mats purchased are a flat product, it sounds like you have received the correct product. We do offer a moulded rubber mats with high lips for a number of vehicles but unfortunately not for a Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland 2005-2010.

I'm afraid that I had to wait over3 weeks for my car mats to be delivered, despite being told they would taken 5-7 days. They are a good fit and seem quite well made

Ordered mats for a 2012 5 series BMW. Got in touch with Car Mats to advise not happy with placement of heel pad. Sent them a requested photo of their mat to which they replied that, basically, "It looks alright to them". When I pointed out that their heel pad was in different position to where BMW put the heel pad in the carpet, the reply was basically that their heel pad position has nothing to do with the manufacturers heel pad position! Gave two stars as they were delivered on time and looks nice, if nothing else.

Look nice! But degrade quickly, very stiff starting to loose form! unlike the original rugs which came with my car which are high quality rugs super thick and heavy these seem flimsy.

This unfortunately delayed a number of orders by a few additional days.

I am personally Very disappointed with the mats also my work mates. We all agreed very low quality carpet for over a £50 mats. I had same quality carpets, i bought £15 from halfords. Carpet edge finishing not great. It had a sticky sticker on driver side and took me 10 mins to clear the glue. I didn't relise when i bought these custom mats, it comes with their company logo attached to the front driver side. However Custom stitch name is perfectly done. But i won't recommend to buy mats on here!!

You've selected our Grand mats, we have 3 higher qualities that you might have been happier with. We sell tailored mats which are more expensive to produce than universal mats, a universal set from a high street retailer wouldn't have been perfectly tailored to your Mini. Equally it wouldn't have been possible to add a custom trim or embroidery to those purchased from a high street retailer. They fit as they should but for the money the quality is lacking. You can get similar for half the price

You can purchase cheaper untailored universal mats on a number of sites, we ourselves also sell them. However universal mats wouldn't be a specific fit for your Mazda 2 2007-2012.

I ordered my mats on 23rd February. Of the 4 mats ordered they've only managed to deliver 3 of them as of today 25th March. I ordered a front mat and a 3 section rear for my VW T6 LWB Shuttle. The first delivery was short shipped, as it was missing the middle section of the 3 section rear. I quickly sent them the image from their website of the plan of the mats with a big arrow saying I'm missing this bit. Next day they asked for photos. Next day they said they raise a new order and get me the missing. 10 days later (although they say 1-9 on the their website FAQ) they sent me another set of what they sent me originally. i.e. not the missing part. Now one month on I still don't have all the mats for the original order. Customer care is only on email (no phone or chat). I contacted them on Thursday and they said they had to speak to the "Factory Manager". I followed up on Friday afternoon and heard nothing. This morning they advised they were waiting to hear back from the Factory Manager, which they hoped to maybe today or maybe tomorrow. They made an error on the first delivery, these things happen, we're all human. But instead of doing their best to sort the problem, they've dragged their heels. As a result I'm left with a feeling of No sense of urgency, no sense of customer love, no real sense of anyone caring at all. It's such a shame as the product seems really good. But the test of anything is when it goes wrong and in this instance Vanmats have been left wanting. They say about mistakes "Once is a mistake, twice is a decision and third is a pattern."

Emailed you before ordering to check my mini mats would be fitted with Velcro fasteners. You said they would be, they arrived and they were not. Just another poor quality after markert mat then ?

Ordered weeks ago. They didn't turn up even after email saying they should have arrived. Had to chase them up. Apparently Evri "lost" them. Had to reorder. Taking a lot of time. No recompense offered sadly. Disappointed.

Front mats are great, a perfect fit and match for the old OEM ones. The rear mat is of little use as it is under sized and way off the OEM ones. I raised this as an issue, they told me this was the correct set but they accepted that their mat wasn't as good a fit as the OEM one. I was offered a refund if I returned them unused but I had already fitted the front ones to my vehicle. Won't be using them again and I'd advise caution if you want a mat to fit your vehicle properly

The rear mat is a different shape to your OEM mat but does still over a good coverage. As the mats were used you couldn't unfortunately return them for a refund but I can see our team have provided a partial refund as a gesture of goodwill.
