“Adla was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and polite. My husband is in a wheelchair so booking a trip to Alaska was a little more complicated but Adla has put everything in place for a fantastic manageable trip. Adla assured me I could get intouch anytime with any questions going forward”

“Adla has been wonderful. She came back to us very quickly with an itinerary for our trip to Canada, and the price was very good. We don't travel till September of this year, and I'm sure she will be more than happy to answer any queries we may have.”

“Due to the pandemic our special trip to Calgary, Rocky Mountaineer and Alaskan Cruise had to be cancelled. We decided to wait a year or two before rebooking. Very glad we waited as there is now a package holiday (Toronto/Banff/Rocky Mountaineer/Vancouver/Alaskan Cruise) which includes everything from our original holiday plus extras (Toronto, Niagara Falls excursion etc.). Adla our consultant was really friendly, informative and very patient while answering our multitude of questions. She could not have been any more helpful during the face to face meeting in store and also in follow up emails. We would definitely use this company again for any future holiday bookings.”

“We have just booked a family RV holiday to Canada and Brian was very friendly, helpful and responsive. He helped explain some of the extras and the options of the RV and guide us to make decisions that would work for us as it’s our first time in an RV and to Canada. “Brian has been sincere , knowledgeable and patient in out experience booking our Rockies and Alaskan adventure . Several times his call to us had to be short and sweet due to family/ work commitment but he always called back as discussed and e mailed us regularly too update on trip itinerary . He listened to our needs and concerns and offered us good advice . Not sure about the Elk burger tho as a near veggie 😜 The costs were extremely favourable and we will definitely be recommending to friends who are looking to do a similar trip .”

“Our consultant, Brian, was excellent. He went through all options even when we were asking lots of questions and called back exactly when he said he would. He found answers to all our questions straight away and we were able to tailor our holiday there and then over the phone with no hassle. He found us the best price and gave us the cost of other options so we could compare. He understood our requirements and handled everything in a friendly, professional manner. He was knowledgeable and able to answer queries without the usual "I'll have to call you back about that", which was so refreshing. We would certainly use this company again and I would always ask for Brian.”

His helpful and friendly personal and professional manner, with advice reinforced by in-depth experience and a full understanding of what we were looking for, has inspired total confidence and peace of mind. The devil is in the detail, as they say, and we will depart on our Rocky Mountaineer/Alaska Cruise/ Vancouver Island holiday in June knowing for sure that what he has put together for us can't be bettered anywhere for either content or cost. Can't wait!”

“When planning our special trip to Canada and the USA to celebrate outer 25th Wedding anniversary, we never expected it to be the amazing once in a lifetime trip that it turned out to be! Scott's knowledge, professionalism and commitment to ensuring we had the best time was evident throughout. Our itinerary was fantastic and provided us with the best location, hotels and travel arrangements within our budget. Our itinerary included the following: 3 nts Banff 2 days Rocky Mountaineer (Gold Leaf) 1 nt Kamloops 3nts Vancouver 2 nts Victoria, Vancouver Island 2 nts Seattle 4 nts San Francisco 4 nts Las Vegas We saw our first beautiful turquoise glacial river in the form of Bow River in Banff. Rode a gondola to the top of Suphure Mountain. Experience the grace of the Rocky Mountaineer through stunning scenery. Ate our heart out at Grenville Island and smelt the beautiful roses in Stanley Park, Vancouver. Transfer to Victoria meant we felt the warm sun in Butchart gardens and took in some whale watching whilst there. Visited Pike Place Market, the Space Needle, Klondike museum, the first ever Starbucks and got to meet Robert Earl Thomas aka Johnboy Walton in Seattle! We took a sunset river cruise in San Francisco, taking in the Golden gate bridge and alcatraz. Rode the tram to Lombard Street, went to see the painted ladies and Union Square. Day trip to Muir woods (oldest, tallest Redwoods in the world) and relaxed in Sausalito. Got to experience Las Vegas with its bright lights, zipwired through Fremont Street. But the ultimate experience was a breathtaking plane ride over the Hoover Dame to Western rim of Grand Canyon. Helicopter through and landing at the basin of the canyon, with a boat ride along the Colorado river. Truly awesome in every way. Only glitch we had was outbound flight delay from Gatwick, which meant we missed our transfer from Calgary to Banff and had to pay for a taxi. This has since been refunded by Barrhead. Absolutely incredible journey and experience from start to finish and one we will never forget. Thank you so much Scott and the Barrhead team.”

“I first booked my trip with Canada travel specialists back in september2019 for trvavel to Canada in may 2020, but due to the pandemic of covid 19 we had to cancel and move the trip to two other dates because myself and my wife wanted to have the full experience of our trip to Canada without restrictions.we have finally set a date of September 07 2023. This being a bucket list trip we have gone to Canada travel specialists to arrange as they are renowned company. I’d like to thank an advisor who has had the patience of a saint with me (Anne Macaldowie), she has be so helpful in getting the best for my needs and all the alterations in dates hotels and flight changes. She is someone who I’d recommend to anyone who needs to book a holiday to Canada. Also Canada travel specialists as a company for the great service provided.”

“On first contact, CTS (Adla) understood our less-than-straightforward holiday plans and quickly produced an itinerary that met our needs. Although Adla was not present on the day we booked, her colleague, Brian, was able to complete the booking and take our deposit on her behalf. We obtained quotations from other agents, but the price quoted by CTS was up to 30% less than one competitor. Having used Barrhead Travel on several previous occasions, they have again delivered excellent customer service and a value-for-money deal.”

“My Canadian tour was organised by the brilliant Adla Toal. I had a wonderful time on both my tours of Western Canada and then the Maritimes. I met and am still in touch with lots of friendly and interesting American and Canadian people. The organisation over the whole tour was superb. My only brief comments and observations are: 1. The choice of the Exchange Hotel in Vancouver was terrific. Lovely boutique hotel, centrally located and excellent staff and accommodation. 2. I would thoroughly recommend the Grouse Mountain and Capilano Suspension Bridge tour in Vancouver. 3. All the taxi services organised for me worked perfectly. 4. The Rocky Mountaineer train continues to be excellent. This time the hotel chosen in Kamloops was uptown and not near any restaurants etc. The last time 7 years ago was a downtown hotel. 5. Lake Louise, Jasper and Banff were amazing – the hotel in Banff with the view was absolutely stunning (Rimrock Resort Hotel) 6. The Maritimes tour was incredible (with Trafalgar) – it was very intense in terms of long days and early starts but the organisation, the tour director and coach driver were brilliant. 7. I’m so glad I had 4 nights in New Glasgow at the end to relax and spend time with my friend before returning home. 8. The scenery in Canada is stunning but obviously very different in Western Canada compared with the Maritimes. 9. And last but not least the Canadian people are amazing, friendly and hospitable.
