“My experience with Barrhead Travel couldn’t have been any better. From start to finish, the whole process was so smooth. Adla was fantastic, knowledgeable and super helpful with my many questions! So much super advice you don’t get with most tour operators such as information visa requirements. We have now returned from our fabulous Canada and Alaska adventures, wow what can I say, it was amazing, truly a trip of a lifetime. If anyone is considering it, or any other holidays, I can highly recommend getting in touch with Adla for a 5 star experience and complete peace of mind. Thank you!”

“From the moment Adla put together an amazing package for a trip to Canada to celebrate my Birthday with my good friend Ian, we were both hooked at the idea. Having arranged flights, hotels, excursions, and, best of all, the Rocky Mountaineer train, all went seamlessly which made the trip a real holiday of a lifetime. The Air Canada strike was a big worry as we were literally stranded in Toronto with, at that point, no chance of continuing our holiday or getting back to London. But, thankfully, Adla and the rest of the team at Barrhead Travel came through brilliantly, getting us on two seperate flights so we were able to continue our holiday. If I were ever to visit the wonderful country of Canada again, or other alternatives, I wouldn't hesitate to contact Adla Toal again or indeed recommend her to anyone reading this. You won't be disappointed!”

“Thanks to Adla for organising our trip to Canada. We had a rough idea/plan but Adla organised us based on her experience. Adla discussed flights and different airports even mentioning luggage storage points. The detail which she produced was amazing. We look forward to our trip in 2026.”

“We have travelled extensively over the years and Sophie is easily the best travel agent we have made our plans with. Patient and with a good knowledge of her subject she has guided us through a reasonably complicated travel plan. “Brian was brilliant! He made excellent suggestions as to what to add to the itinerary that we were so pleased about because the suggestions were spot on. He also quickly matched our idea of what sort of quality of accommodation and budget we expected. As we have never been to Canada, his advice was invaluable especially about whether we had planned enough time at each stop to fit in what we wanted to see. Any adjustments we asked for, were done promptly. It was really worth going to a company that specialises in Canada because there is so much involved.”

“Brian Walker is a credit to Canada Travel Specialists and I would recommend anyone to contact him to plan their Canada holiday. After making contact via a Facebook advert Brian planned our holiday, answered questions we had quickly and made the whole experience very easy. My wife and I have just returned from 17 days in Canada and everything ran very much to plan with no issues, I would defiantly use Brian in the future.”

“I had recently contacted Canada tours to see if they could compete with an itinerary I had seen with Iglu cruises. Not only did they compete but Adla came up with a better itinerary talking is through options, ensuring that we have a tailor made holiday that’s great for us. “Michelle put together the most amazing holiday for my sister and myself. We went to her with a list of things we wanted to do, the Calgary stampede , a few days in Banff including horse riding and a fantastic afternoon tea, then on the beautiful road trip to Jasper and then on the Rocky Mountaineer train to Vancover followed by a cruise up the coast of Alaska. This was a bucket list holiday everything was wonderful, great hotels and lots of adventures many thanks to Michelle for all her help and arranging every thing for us.”

“I was really happy with the service I received from Canada Travel Specialists today They took note of everything I asked for and made some good suggestions. They took time to work out a great price which was a lot better that a quote I'd had from another company. They rang back when they said they would and everything is looking great so far, I'm really pleased. I have a personal contact should I need any further information so overall, I'm really happy with the service and price. I would certainly recommend this company for your travel needs..”

“CTS / Barrhead and particularly Adla were magnificent and put together the most memorable trip for us. We travelled to Calgary, Banff, Jasper to Vancouver via Kamloops on the Rocky Mountaineer, 7 night cruise on the Celebrity Solstice and then on to Quebec, before flying home via Montreal. A 21 day trip of a lifetime and every detail was perfectly planned. We can’t thank Adla enough.”

“As Canada had long been on my bucket list, We decided on a fly/drive holiday. My Canada Trips organised it all for us and when we received the itinerary i felt a bit overawed as my husband and I are both in our 70s and it was quite busy. However, I am so glad they did. We had a 10 page itinerary and some fantastic experiences. The Whole trip far exceeded our expectations. The Hotels were all of good 4 star quality, the trips at each location were all well organised and very enjoyable and we ended up doing things we wouldn’t have had we organised the trip ourselves. We particularly enjoyed the bear watching, the Whistler Gondola and the Columbia Glacier. Pre-trip, My Canada had answered all our questions and we had no issues at all while we were away - all we had to do was get ourselves to the right location at the appropriate time. The Hire Car we had was high standard and almost new. I highly recommend My Canada and would happily use them again. It was quite a busy holiday and my only recommendation would be: if you have the time, take the same trip over 3 weeks instead of 2.”
