“Oak logs excellent quality and clean but at high end of cost. Delivery failed to arrive on day scheduled any was only confirmed as following day after a phone call. This wasted my time and additional inconvenience. Phone call with office was handled well and £10 discount offered on next order, but would I risk another order if delivery is problematic? Perhaps a one off rare failure”

“James always great delivery. Only problem no oak available (I prefer oak + birch order) so that was a bit of a pain. Also Calido doesn't supply ash, which would have replaced the oak. Expensive, though...”

“Impressed when driver James managed to coax an electric pallet trolly over stoney ground to place a pallet in the ideal position for me. Also, thanks to Calido for help and advice when I needed to replace a door seal on a log burner.”

“The delivery driver was extremely helpful in delivering our logs to our back door. The only hiccup - I thought we were getting a bag of firelighters and kindling as part of the order.”

“The cut of the ash was great as was the burn, the heat logs were also impressive. However when I asked for delivery I requested the small van so it could reverse up the drive to drop off. The full sized lorry that came parked on the main road and the pallet made it about 2 metres up before it was stuck on the gravel. So we could park our car, I spent 3 hours moving items off the pallet so I could eventually drag it out of the way. So thinking the heat logs were in sealed packaging I prioritised moving the ash logs into the shed and put the heat logs under a tarpaulin …. which blew off in the heavy winds and were then rained on. I lost about 2/3 of the heat logs. Love the product and service but will do smaller/more regular deliveries from now on as I can’t afford to waste money like that. Kind regards James”

“The wood seems to be excellent. The person delivering it was very personable. I was a little taken aback by the price (though I recognise that wood peices are going up everywhere) and to discover that the wood had been shipped from Eastern Europe - so a much bigger carbon footprint than I had imagined.”

“Good quality logs, well packaged as always. Delivery was delayed by one day due to issues with the pallet delivery company. It would have been good to have been contacted by them to let me know that delivery wouldn't happen as waited around most of the day before i contacted the delivery company directly.”

“Sample pack of 6 logs was £12. They lasted well, are a much cleaner and easier experience than standard hard wood logs in my woodburner but I think that at £2 a log they are expensive. I will probably end up trying a mix of both but mainly ordinary logs as that is cheaper in my circumstances.”
