“Very happy with the quality of the logs. They burn clean and warm and size is consistent. Wasn't too impressed that I had to dispose of the painted blue pallet the logs came on.”

“This is the second time I've purchased from Calido and very happy with products. I've dropped one star - due to carrier. They came a day early and thankfully someone was in to move the pallet from the kerbside. No warning at all that this was going to happen on day change or time they were intending to arrive.”

“I have been burning Calido briquettes on my stove for some years now, and I am very pleased with the service and the products. This time I have tried the Fire Log Briquettes, and I find them not so easy to set alight as other Calido briquettes, and they do not give off as much heat as others I have tried, but on the plus side they burn a lot slower, and last a lot longer. They are ideal for burning at night on cold Winter nights to keep the fire in all night, and keep the house warm and cosy. I was also very pleased with the delivery of the briquettes, they came the day after I had asked for them to be delivered, but I was expecting a delay given where I live. I was unable to be at home when the briquettes arrived, but on my arrival back home I was very pleased to see the briquettes there waiting for me, and they had been left sensibly, in a possition I would have asked for them to be left, out of the way, and no problem or hinderance to my neighbours till I could get the briquettes stacked where they were supposed to be. They were also very well wrapped against the weather, and were nice and dry even though the weather was stormy and extremely wet. I would very much recommend Calido products to anyone.”

“The logs are great as is the price the only thing that’s let them down was the emails from the haulage company they sent a email saying it was out for delivery so we wait in alday for it to be take that it was a mistake which was fine only for them to come with it on the day with no email saying what time”

“Logs really good, but wish they’d been packed and loaded more securely onto the pallet! Wheeling it into our garage was difficult as the bag was hanging over to one side and dragging on the ground. I wanted it turned around and put up against the wall, but the pallet was breaking up.”

“Good clean logs. Friendly delivery chappy. Probably on the more expensive side for crates of logs but not over excessively priced. We would normally purchase 1.6m crate but I don’t think Calido do a larger size. Overall, a very good local service.”

“Delivery on time. Wood wrapped well from weather. Wood was as described, regards moisture content. Do I think it was value for money, emphatically no, on the other hand these companies are, in my opinion reaping the current climate with regard heating costs. A small proportion of the delivered wood was made up of small pieces, which is great for kindling but not large enough to formally call a log. For those of us who rely on wood and solid fuel to keep warm are paying the penalty of a dysfunctional government. I feel we are being taken for as much as can be squeezed from the population. I used to live in France, I know I'm no longer there but I could have bought enough fuel..all oak, enough for nearly 3 years for the price I paid. I am sure the company is reputable and probably all nice folk.”
