“It is so esy to order the wood, I just say when I want it delivered and it turns up on the day requested, this is of course after I've paid for it. The 2 big pallets with the square logs on top will last us for around a year depending on weather.”

“Great service, ordered a pallet of 50 x 20kg HotMax logs on the Friday and they were delivered the following Friday, not bad for the North of Scotland. The pallet was well secured/ wrapped and delivery driver was able to place pallet where I wanted it. Would definitely recommend”

“My experience with you is beyond positive. I spoke with John in March that I wanted to delay delivery of two pallets of blocks until August. After speaking Carolette delivery when I requested it Top marks for having a Person to talk unlike many companies nowadays who use AI. Please just keep doing what you’re doing because it is good to talk to people who are helpful and pleasant. You should have no fear of big companies The delivery driver was helpful in placing the pallets in the carport. top marks. 👍👍👍 Allan T”

“Well the first thing that I noticed is that Craig's driver was struggling to get that pallet up to my door.The reason for that is the fact that the base of the pallet was missing a bit of wood causing the pallet to tilt.”

“First order and switched my delivery date no problem for me and wood arrived well stacked and protected by film wrap. Delivery driver was friendly and positioned pallet close to door for me. I haven’t yet used the logs but always get in ahead of end of Sep. I usually buy dried birch because they emit more heat than standard mixed hardwoods. Some logs were larger than I’ve normally had but based on past orders would say matched similar volume for same crate orders so no issue there. The logs sent appear dry but the proof will be in the burning. I was stung last year when a more local supplier sent me a double crate that was very damp. They were not accommodating when I complained hence trying a different supplier. Cannot fault the delivery. Will post a 2nd review when I light my first fire -I use on a multi fuel burner with coal and also open fire and Birch is definitely my favourite wood to burn. It smells delicious also! Delighted to learn from Scotland of all places with my McDonald roots!”

“Now heading into my seventh winter season as a Calido customer, which probably tells you more about how we as a household view them. .Great products and a very straightforward process to order and book delivery.. which arrived within the stated timeframe, and was dropped to within a couple of inches of where I wanted it. Can't really ask for more, can you?”
