“Nice logs, well cut and dry. Delivered as promised. Good communication with seller and delivery company. Unfortunately, the pallet was just a few inches too high to fit through garage door - otherwise all as expected.”

“My logs arrived but the delivery company would not take the pallet. Website should make it clear that customer has to dispose of pallet. Otherwise, the price of the logs was competitive and delivery was prompt.”

Dear Mr Woodier, It is disappointing that you have decided to give us a negative review. We delivered what was described and shown on our website, 52 packs of Verdo briquettes on a pallet. You made the assumption that the pallet would be taken away, this is the first time in 4 years anyone has done so as the product descriptions says “The briquettes are delivered on a pallet” No where do we say the pallet will be taken away and our terms and conditions state it is the customers responsibility to dispose of the pallets. If this is your only issue with the product and the delivery I could understand a 4 star review, a three star review seems unduly harsh as we delivered what we described, how we described it and for a competitive price. As a small family business competing against big companies these negative reviews, deserved or not can have a lasting impact which is unfortunate. Perhaps you could see fit to adjust your score to 4 star taking into consideration the product and price also? “First time I have ordered a pallet of briquettes and had some concerns. All questions were answered promptly, even outside office hours. I was well impressed by this service. During the whole process and delivery, I was updated by email and phoned by the driver to inform me when I could expect the goods to arrive. Overall a pleasant experience and can recommend them.”

“The logs are bone dry, catch easily and burn fairly slowly with a good heat output and a bright flame; however they do spit rather more than expected and certainly much more than other hardwoods that we have bought. The delivery became a matter of [ultimately successful] negotiation because we do not have a "kerbside" in the parlance of delivery drivers.”

“Wood is fine. Delivery a bit tricky cos the truck wouldn't come up our lane. (Overhanging branches) I had to help the driver push the pallet trolley to our back gate.”

“Great company... I was on their web site, to consider them as a supplier of logs for our new wood burning stove, which is good, and saw that on that day they were closed. Then up popped a IM box asking if I wanted help! Well, although closed, Lauren was actually in. Following a few IMs, I called to understand more about them and their offerings. I remain a bit in the dark as to why their logs are significantly more expensive, even for kiln dried logs, I felt sufficiently satisfied that I placed an order. Simple and very easy. Due to my availability, they went out of their way to meet a tight delivery slot. A clean and effortless process. That in itself has value. Will I use them again? Yes... Great service and the logs were of very good quality. All making our first use of our new stove that much more enjoyable. 4*s only due to being a wee bit pricy otherwise 5*+. Service was 6*!”
