“Hats off to Bonners and especially that lady herself - Jackie White. She must have dreaded my name being revealed in her email inbox but after several mails I settled on purchasing a Tyros 5-61 keyboard which arrived after 5 days [I live in Isle of Man which accounts for the extra days] and ever since I have been in a different world. The deal that Jackie and I agreed was most acceptable - yes even very big retailers such as Bonners do a deal these days, and they did not even charge the extra for delivery to Isle of Man. Jackie offered a part-exchange sum which again was acceptable but I have been able to sell on Island at a slightly higher price which Jackie advised me to do. You may wonder why I have bought in UK when there is a Yamaha retailer here in Isle of Man. The answer is very simple - I asked for a price over here and still wait for an answer after several months. The Yamaha agent here has never stocked a Tyros 5 and I think that is likely to remain the case. Bonners [Jackie] could not have been more helpful with a reply within hours to my initial enquiry. I would recommend them to anyone - good service, it counts for everything these days. Brian Holt”

“The Tyros 5 (76) was my second purchase from Bonners. All I can really say is that on both occasions I was impatient to get my new keyboard and both sets of staff I dealt with were so quick to make sure I got them as soon as possible. Initially I had checked all other sellers and it was Bonners that led the field and gave me the polite and professional service that encourages us to part with our cash. My only sadness is that your shop is too far to get to in a day as I would dearly like to come and see your selection of keyboards and meet the staff who were so good to me. I must say I was slightly disappointed with my T5 to start with but once I got into it I discovered the new features and would not part with it now. So...... thank you for the wonderful service and the friendly assistance from the staff David M Webb”

“Bonners is a good firm to deal with. Just lately, the website has been very slow to load, despite other websites loading normally. The used keyboard I bought had two missing control knobs which Bonners said they could not source. It took less than 5 minutes to find them online, and less than £5.00 to order. For an £800+ keyboard the customer should not have to do this. However, Bonners is the largest music store for many miles and has an impressive range of stock. I am looking to trade in my ZOOM digital studio for something less complex. Maybe I will be back - maybe not - it depends on the website!”

Dear Chris Thank you very much for your feedback. Firstly, I would like to apologise for the situation regarding the missing knobs on your G70 keyboard. You are quite right and they should have been supplied by us in the first place, and I am truly sorry that someone told you otherwise. Remind me next time you make a purchase form us and I'll deduct double what you paid for the knobs to try and compensate for your time and inconvenience. Our website does tend to slow down when updates are being made and we now only update at the end of the working day to try an minimise the slowdowns. “Not a lot of back up support and the manual is essentially for an SK1 so it is difficult how to set up the 2 keyboards for separate sound. Your salesmen were not especially helpful. Can you tell me of other people you have sold SK2s to in London/south east London kind regards”

“11/02/2014 - ordered as it stated that it was in stock 18/02/2014 - item not received so made enquiries via email 19/02/2014 - told that Bonners were out of stock 13/05/2014 - still not received item, made enquiries via email 13/05/2014 - Bonners informed me they had sent the item and presumed it had been lost in the post 14/05/2014 - received refund Used Bonners before with no problems and will in the future despite lack of communication”
