“The first sales lady that I encountered was very helpful. She then went on holiday. I felt that everyone was far too busy to deal with everything and that the accounts people were helping out on the shop floor. I then wanted to return a pair of speakers (cost approx. £300). I had used ONE for a total of about 3 minutes and had then decided that they were not what was required, so I returned them all boxed and wrapped, some 5 days later, only to be told that they would offer me only £150 as they were now used. Dreadful customer service and I will never go back.”

Dear David Thank you very much for your feedback. I have looked into the situation and according to our bank records you were offered the full value of the speakers (£249) in store credit because they were originally purchased in-store. You didn't take this option, so in consideration that the item had been opened and used, we refunded you £235 to your credit card on 9th September 2013 - not £150 as you stated in your review. This amount reflected the discount we felt was required to sell the speakers on to a subsequent customer, having already been opened and used. I am extremely sorry for any mis-understanding. “Very pleased with the service, a bonus have private parking. Although the EX100 was not on display the assistant soon got one from the store and set it up for me to try. After purchasing the piano was wrapped again and I was helped place it in my car. Bonners kindly disposed of the cardboard boxes which I didn't require.”

“My colleague and I run a community choir, and we went to Bonners In January 2014 to buy Kawai MP6 Stage Piano (ex demo), bought online from them via Ebay. We also needed help and advice regarding an amplifier. The staff at Bonners were extremely helpful, and gave us a good deal on the whole package, which included a stand, seat and bag on wheels for the keyboard. We had a small concern about the order in which we had to switch on the keyboard and amp, when sometimes, the keyboard didn't work , which even the manufacturers were unable to shed light on, and to check this out, Bonners delivered a replacement keyboard. It just meant that we had to remember to switch on the keyboard before the amp, which is good practice anyway. After trying the amp, we felt it wasn't powerful enough for our needs, and, again, Bonners immediately had another couriered over to us, and collected the original amp, refunding a small price difference. By the way, the new amp doesn't have the same issue. We would recommend Bonners to anyone. The knowledge, courtesy, interest, level of service and friendly attitude of their staff is something they should be extremely proud of,. They were a pleasure to deal with.”

“Never dealt with Bonners before until recently. It was an internet purchase but it was all sorted very quickly and smoothly and my purchase (a digital piano) arrived safely and swiftly. Would I use Bonners again - yes :)”

“Wow!!, ordered Friday and had delivery Saturday by 9.00am, excellent service. All details were explained in detail when placing my order by telephone and any questions I asked were dealt with professionally and quickly. No need to serach any more, as I will always go straight to Bonners Music, as the service, price and customer service is excellent. Chris in Wales.”

“I decided that I wanted to buy a Yamaha CVP 605. I also wanted to PX my Yamaha CLP 440 for which Bonner offered me a terrific price. I got an excellent overall deal and all done by Email. They delivered my new piano, set it up and took my old one away with no problems. They even supplied a five year warranty. I was very happy with the service Bonner Music provided, and would have no hesitation in recommending them.”

“Bonners are a long established Company and I had no hesitation in choosing them to supply my second digital piano. My first digital piano was supplied by Bonners some twenty years ago. I had more or less decided on the Yamaha CVP609 digital piano from my internet research. However it was very nice to visit Bonners and see the instrument and have a very professional demonstration. I placed my order for the CVP609 which was delivered and assembled earlier than estimate. I have now used the instrument of over six months and has exceeded my expectation in many ways. I would not consider using any other music store even though Bonners are 40 miles distance from my home.”

“A Very helpfull company, whom did a lot to help me to purchase my Kronos with ease. My email conversations helped, when I had problems with documentation. All in all, very good. Would buy from this company again, no hesitation. I haven't thou yet had means to complain about the product. So cannot say anything about customer care or there services.”

“Well yes the KXS20 Double Braced Keyboard Stand I bought from Bonners is solid and workman like - well you don't really notice a stand do you - however, the Hammond SK1 stage keyboard that i bought from you at the same time and which sits on top of it, is very noticeable and absolutely fantastic - I have been absolutely delighted with both items which were delivered earlier than expected - your salesman Joseph Curzon was very helpful and personable in helping me narrow down my choice to the Hammond. “I contacted Bonners over the phone after spotting the JTV-89 on their website and found the staff to be very polite and helpful. I opted to drive down to the store (from Watford) so I could try out the guitar before parting with my hard-earned cash (mostly because I'd never had my hands on one, and had been unimpressed with a similar guitar just weeks before) and was impressed by the store's interior and wide range of instruments. The guy who dealt with me was very polite, friendly, and happy to leave me in peace to get to grips with the guitar rather than breathing down my neck, trying to get a sale. Once I'd made my mind up to purchase the guitar, the staff member (sorry I can't remember your name!) was able to make a quick truss rod adjustment and even threw in a spare set of strings. I know a set of strings isn't a lot, but I hadn't even asked for it (especially as the guitar was already marked down by about £400), the guy just said I should have them as the strings that were currently on the guitar were a bit worn. I was left with the impression that this member of staff was entirely committed to his job and 'took ownership' of the guitar department, wanting to meet his customers' needs. He was also highly knowledgeable - just the kind of guy you want to find behind a guitar shop counter, especially if you don't know much about guitars and want to be able to ask daft questions without fear of being mocked (Denmark street, anyone?). I'm a semi-pro who's played for over 20 years, so I know a good shop when I find one, and I found one at Bonners in Eastbourne.”

“The Korg Krome was on the wish list but you cannot invest (i.e. buy off the Internet) in an instrument without playing it. Bonners had the instrument on the shop floor, gave great advice, and provided a excellent price on a bundle with new monitor speakers. No other decision necessary and came home with everything I needed.”
