“I was looking for a good quality lay-flat book and I certainly found that with Bob Books. I was very happy with the quality and presentation of the book. The software was not hard to learn and I found it allowed me great flexibility for laying out my photos - you don't have to stick with the prescribed layouts though they are very useful. They were also very quick to respond to my questions when I started working on the book. The other advantage for me was that would ship to Australia (at a reasonable rate) - something other similar companies would not do (for the same quality product - photographic quality printing and good quality lay-flat presentation).”

“I was going to use another company but their website was down so I used Bob books instead for my customer. I found the whole process so easy to do, web the carefully packaged book arrived, I was completely delighted. The photos really showcased my work. Awesome quality. Best of all, my client was delighted. I'll definitely be using them again in the very near future without hesitation.”

Hi Norma, Thank you for your review. The size which you choose (large portrait), is the only size we offer which isn't available with our lay-flat photographic papers. Unfortunately, the machinery used for producing the photographic paper books isn't large enough for the Large Portrait books. We do hope that we will eventually be able to offer the option in the future. Kind regards, Bob Books

“Used a lot and always good. Only downside I would say is the automatic aligner doesn't work for me (just pushes the photos next to each other). Therefore I have to disable which means I spend hours (literally) aligning photos with the gridlines on”

Hi Tom, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I am sorry that you found it difficult to align your images. I just wanted to check if you know that in the Bob Designer software, you can save your own layouts to be used again throughout the book (and on future books of the same size). this way, if you are reusing the same layout throughout your book, you'll only need to spend the time to align the images once. After this you can apply the layout to other pages and simply drag and drop the photos in. You can also change the size of the grid in the software settings. Our customer care team can offer advise on this, and we also cover this in a help video on our website, if you would like to know any more. I hope this is useful. Kind regards, Bob Books

“Intuitive software; excellent help facility (there is actually someone to talk to on the other side. This was originally the MAIN reason I went with Bob Books for my first book - I haven't been disappointed and am now on my 7th book); good quality product, fast processing time and well-protected shipment. Very recommended.”

“I am really disappointed this time. My books have arrived with the covers crushed at the top, and I now don't have time to replace them before I give them to friends who are visiting from abroad. Poor show. These books are expensive, so this really shouldn't be happening!”
