“Good software - it is cross platform and runs on linux which is a massive plus. But best of all, the quality of the books and printing is superb - particularly the top end gloss photographic paper lay-flat option. Whilst expensive, you definately get what you pay for. I shall continue being a customer of this high quality supplier.”

“Very impressed with the speed of delivery - I thought it would take at least a couple of weeks to arrive but I was delighted to receive the book within one week. I had spent a lot of time re-touching and editing many old photos (some 100+ years old) and was a bit anxious to see how they would appear in the book, but they looked even better than I had dared hope, the printing was excellent. The ability to include a QR code for videos was something I had never expected but I was delighted to see how easy it was to create and how simple it is to view the video with a smartphone. I'll certainly recommend Bob Books to anyone considering organising a photograph collection.”

“I was very pleased with the finished product - my first photobook. I found your software less flexible than Snapfish which I used for another book immediately afterwards before I had your book back. I found your software less flexible sometimes on fitting a photo into a shape and also to moving shapes around, especially the former aspect.”

“We have used Bob Books a number of times now and recently created a book of all our wedding photos. We chose the hardback photographic matt landscape book. The online book creator was easy to use, and the finished book arrived very quickly. Beautiful quality, well-made, carefull packages and the images look amazing. Very impressed, and very special! “Does what it says on tin. Book paper good. Would like to specify non-standard sizes (or have more to choose from). Most functions you could want are present though I couldn't find a way to scale photo to fit frame (?). Red-eye correction not great.”

“Very pleased with the quality of the photobooks and the presentation boxes. Only missing element is possibility to have a 2-page spread for certain images - I do an amount of architectural photography using a tilt-shift lens and final images would be great over a centre spread. Other vendors have this facility.”

Hi Frank, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. it is possible to create books with double pages spreads in the Bob Designer software. You can either do this by placing the photo as a "background image across both pages" or by simply placing the image on the page and dragging it across how you would like. This works particularly well with our lay-flat photographic paper books. “I use Bob Books extensively for my photo albums. The quality of the book binding and printing is excellent and having the software on your computer rather than using a web interface, makes getting it right so much easier. The last order was for cards to let people know about my daughters birth. Again these were excellently printed on good quality card, and easy to create. Bob Books also have regular offers and discounts which is obviously also helpful. Best company of its type on the marker in my opinion.”

“Finally managed to turn my scrappy recipe collection into a folder full of JPGs and copied them all into a Bob Book. The result is fabulous, my favourite recipes of all times in one place all sorted and displayed and besides, it made a damn nice Christmas present for family members as well to share flavours used over many years. The service was fast and the quality extremely high. Thank you.”

“High quality products - books and calendars - lots of friendly support when needed. Only not 5 stars because some things need tidying up - like combining online and downloaded orders. It is much better to download the software - more options - if your network speed is fast enough.”

“I love Bob Books. I always print on Lustre Photographic paper and I love the quality. The customer service is great as well. The only thing that would make me love Bob Book more is if they did simple linen covers in one or two colours.”
