“Great quality product. On time delivery. Quite expensive though. I would have found it useful to have clearer instructions on website. First purchase and I wasted time uploading photos not realising needed to create the book offline then upload. Would be helpful to be able to copy an individual page rather than only a double page.”

“Very pleased with my two recent books on Namibia produced from scanned in slides. I am now in the process of consolidating my large collection of photos taken over the past 60 - 70 years into books - a huge task. Particularly please with the calendar I produced - better than anything you can buy in the shops! John Cucksey”

“I have been using bobs books for several years. The software allows for a much better creative experience with way more choice and is much better for making large books with 100+ photos. They are more expensive than the other companies but it is worth it”

“Photo books always look impressive. Slight problem this time in that the photos did not look quite as good as on the screen. Raised with Customer Service who said that auto optimisation was not set on each photo, but offered to reprint it free after I changed the settings. Second attempt looked very good. However it looks like the program does not default to auto optimisation for photos this has to be done per photo or in the master settings, and the picture on screen does not look any different whether the optimisation is on or off. But customer service excellent thanks for reprinting it.”

“I recently completed my fourteenth A4 or larger Bob book (have also done a few smaller ones), and have at least another five in the pipeline. This latest one was 'Venice'. As usual, the overall quality, finish and colour rendering were excellent, and the print quality was good, but a little dark in places. I chose the expensive gloss finish; I have used this a few times before, and had some small issues with dark areas then. I have also used the 'Classic' paper, the matte finish and the 'lay-flat' photographic paper. I now think that, while all the results are good, the Classic and the lay-flat give the best over-all results. From now on, I will use lay-flat where pages are not an issue, and Classic where I want as many pages as possible. In any case, I have always found Bob Books great people to work with, courteous, helpful and responsive, and will continue to use the Bob Books application for my albums and calendars (which have also always been first class!). We now regard the post-holiday 'Bob Book' as the best souvenir!”

“Bob Books is a first class product with easy to use software, helpful support and most important quality results. Print quality is excellent with sharp accurate colours and contrast. If your monitor is properly profiled the Bob Book pictures will accurately match your expectations. The only downside is that the books are costly and reductions for quantity very modest.”

“The ease of creating a book was exceptional with all sorts of special features. I found the book very expensive though. Had the cost been lower I would have rated them 10/10.”

“Absolutely love the high quality printing which is why I used Bob's books. Much better definition and colour quality than for eg Photobox. Big drawback is that it is very tricky (but possible) to add text into albums -Photobox is light years ahead on that front. Hoping they get this sorted out before I do my next one.”

“I have always used Bob Books for high quality photo-books for our major overseas holidays. I have never been disappointed in the results and have found the software easy to use as well as comprehensive and professional looking. The only area of concern is the pricing which is starting to climb, so discount offers are important.”

“My main feedback is that it's really annoying that you cant insert pages in the middle of the book. A couple of times whilst making my book I realised i wanted to add in pages but the only way to do this was to delete all the pages I'd done after where I wanted to insert the new page. I did really like the rest of the site and the quality of the book, but until this is sorted I wouldn't use you again I'm afraid as having to redo so much was really frustrating”

“Photo calendar - The photos themselves were very good quality. A couple of points - it is actual photo paper which is used (I thought it might be heavy gloss card, which would have felt a little more upmarket/modern as a gift). The wire along the top could also possibly be improved to a plastic or coated wire equivalent to make it look a little more contemporary. However the print quality was very good, and the addition of the rail along the bottom made it hang well.”
