“I designed a photobook as a memento of me and my Dads visit to the Ryder Cup at Gleneagles. It was really easy using the online designer and photos from my iphone. Delivery was quick and the book made an excellent Christmas present.”

“Photobooks ordered where received much sooner than expected and are of good quality - a pleasure to look at and share with friends and relatives. We will certainly be using Bobbooks again in the future. The only negative is the courier company used which does not have a depot local to us but they did deliver to a safe place as instructed.”

“It would be a good idea for you to offer a sample printing of the same customer photo on the available papers. It would help to choose the paper and adjust better the brightness and contrast of the photos. My photobook seems to me a bit dark.”

“Dear Bob Books, My main comment is that my photos looked correct on the computer and when I received the calendars I was most disappointed to discover that a huge amount of my photos had been cropped. I already had the photos how I wanted and did not expect you to do any cropping at all- for some of the pictures it totally changes the impact and for that I was extremely disappointed. The quality of the paper and the otherwise layout was good and the same as on the computer but please another time let me be the editor of my own photos. Thank you. I would not have written poor above if my photos all fitted onto the calendar. Yours sincerely, Rebecca Nankivell”

“Impressed with the service, the presentation and the quality. Was especially pleased with the 'black and white' reproduction which was much cleaner and more vivid than other services I have used. “I have found 'Bob Books' extremely easy to use, especially after having used other photo book sites. The quality of production is excellent and very swift, and our family love looking at the end results and sharing them with family and friends. I recently recommended Bob Books to my father in law and he has already created a photobook of his holiday photos from Norway, in December of last year. “We ordered from BobBooks as we had read good reviews. Of BB. We were not disappointed. I had never done a photobook before and was a bit apprehensive but downloaded the software and found it pretty easy to use. I had a few issues but that was down to me not the software! I shall know better how to use it next time. The quality, sharpness and colour rendering were superb. We are delighted with the book and our friends are amazed. We did have a minor hiccup when the postman left our book outside in the rain all day and the pages twisted but one call was all it took to get it replaced foc. I shall certainly use them again. Richard”

“High quality book production that does my photos justice. I have produced several books of holiday photos and I find the software easy to use. Size, shape and layout of photos can be varied to retain the viewer's attention and emphasise the more interesting shots. I keep captions short but they are easy to add. The process of assembly and review is straightforward and I have found it easy to save the work in stages and return to it. Most importantly, the final result is just as it looks on the screen. Delivery time by post is adequately fast enough for my purposes.”

“I have made many albums with Bobs Books and will continue to use the service. The programme is easy to use even for a non techy person like me. When I have experienced difficulties I have been able to get help over the phone from the support team . Many people who have seen my albums have been inspired to make their own . I have recommended bobs books to lots of people. If I could have a request , it would be to have a bigger choice of texts especially faux Hindi and Chinese . As I always make a holiday album after returning from a foreign holiday, I would like more choice of icons from different countries.”

“Hadn't used the software for a couple of years but the new version is a lot easier to use, and I got the book done a lot faster than I'd anticipated. Delivery was also far faster, a matter of days, and this was in the run-up to Christmas. As ever everybody who saw the book was really impressed with how professional the end product it - particularly the binding and paper quality. Only functional gaps we I couldnt see how to insert pages between existing pages - I could only keep adding pages to the end.”

“I have used the Bob Books iPad app and have quickly become a big fan, having now ordered three books. It is easy to use and intuitive and offers a neat solution to the middle-aged nostalgia for hard copies of favourite images or tangible reminders of great holidays in addition to soft copies on phones, computers or tablets. The quality of the books themselves is excellent and was a really nice surprise when the first one was delivered to me. I had not expected the image quality and the general production level of the book to be so high. Delivery times were also pretty fast (generally within a 5 days of submitting the order). Selecting the images and fitting them into the book is pretty easy and I have actually enjoyed the process in contrast to some other apps I have used. The range of different formats and page layouts is good and my only criticism (and request for a change) is that images remained marked as having been used even if you change your mind and remove them from the book to put them in somewhere else. This can mean that you think you have used your favourite images, only to find that this is not the case. A problem which is easily avoided by simply checking back through the book but it would be nice if it could be sorted out so that only images currently in the book are shown as having been selected. Otherwise, an excellent app and top quality service.”
