“Very good, prompt service and decent quality printing. But a few reservations: 1) It's apparently not possible to delete images from the image bank at the top of the screen. This means the bank can become over-full of images that you don't want/need. 2) If you add more than about 30 images to the image bank, they do not load unless you come out of the page and go back in again. This software needs upgrading. 3) In my book, there were very small gaps between some of the images that had been edited to sit next to each other. When editing, there were no gaps.”

Dear Martin, Thank you for taking the time to do a review. I have checked with our customer care team regarding the removal of unused images and this is a feature that we are may be able to add to our online creator. You should be able to upload more than 30 photos to place in your book, the inability to do so could have been related to your connection speed or the file size of the image. The gaps in between some of the images should not have happened and we are happy to look into this further. “I found the application easy to use so designing my book was fun and easy. The ordering process was also smooth and the delivery was very quick. I'm very happy with the quality of my book - the cover is glossy and the pages are nice and thick with high resolution prints. I'd definitely recommend them.”

“Excellent level of service. Have had a good number of photobooks produced by Bob Books and have been consistently impressed by the ease of production and the quality of the final artwork. This last time there was a slight imperfection on the corner of the book cover - I cannot speak too highly of the customer service I received when I rang the helpdesk. The reproduction of my order was handled in a most professional way and a reprint turned around in a matter of days, whilst at all times I was kept informed of progress - exemplary”

“Once you've planned your images the creation of the book is fairly easy. The finished books are good and impress the oldies. The guy on the helpline was very helpful - sorted out the issue I was having submitting the final artwork.”

“I have just received my holiday album from Bob Books and I'm absolutely delighted with it. Really high quality with a lovely finish. My only disappointment was that even though I ordered express delivery it took over 3 weeks to be delivered. It was over Christmas I suppose. Bob Books very kindly offered to send me another one as I thought it had been lost, but luckily it arrived before that was needed. Will definitely order from them again.”

I have had a look into your account and can see that the order was shipped out 3 working days after you ordered (21st of December). Unfortunately, international deliveries can be unpredictable, but it does seem that the Christmas break has added an extra few weeks onto the normal delivery time I would expect. Apologies for this. “The site was easy to navigate. The quality of the photos was very good despite most of them being over 30years old and having to scan them to upload. Lots of choice of books, backs and inner pages as well as background colours and frames. Staff were really helpful regarding my queries. Delivered as promised despite it being so close to the Christmas deadline. Thanks, l was able to create a great and much appreciated gift.”
