“It was a great help that someone was always at the end of a telephone to help with various technical aspects of putting the book together. Everyone I spoke to was knowledgeable and very helpful which made the whole project possible as I had never done a photobook before. Once I got the hang of it the software was very user friendly, even for someone of my generation. I was delighted with the look of the book when it arrived and so was my daughter who I made it for. I did send you an enthusiastic email thank you all after I got the book which I hope you received.”

“I was pleased with the quality of the calendar I received. My only comment is that the photographic glossy paper does not lend itself to writing in dates etc. and there was no premium matt option available.”

“quality of final product is excellent however, I didn't find the website particulary user friendly. We had difficulty dragging and dropping some photos (using a MAC) and the book arrived with some blank pages. I realise this was our error (we thought that the blanks in the view were because the panorama's we'd chose couldn't be displayed in this. I think for the price of the product (I spent over £100) there should have been some communication from you before printing a book with two blank double pages and two other pages with a clear space for a photo. I would be the first to admit that I'm not the most compute savvy but I'm not an idiot either and will have more skill than other people using your service so, all in all, I think it could be more user friendly”

Hello Jenny, Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. I am sorry you were disappointed with your book. Our books are printed as you see them on screen and any pages left blank will not have anything printed on them. We only check our books for quality and production issues and do not assess them on a design basis as we do not know if you intend to leave pages blank – some of our customers do so they can write or attach things on these pages. I am so sorry for any disappointment caused and have passed this on to our customer care team to help resolve this. “I have now used Bob Books five times to collate family photos into books. The result has, without exception, been brilliant. The one photo per page option, hard back option offers a top class way to store memories. My last order was for seven copies of a book/album I created of my parents with all their grandchildren, in order to give a copy to the grandchildren for their future memories, and without doubt this was a top gift. “The service we received from Bob Books was exceptional. I had ordered a book for my daughter's 21st and had mistakenly put the front cover on the back. After contacting and explaining the mistake Bob Books allowed us to re submit the book and amended our mistake at no extra charge. Thank you all so much, my daughter loves her book.”

“I put together a Photo album for my wife's 70th birthday including family photos through out the year. It looked so good when I received it and she was 'over the moon' The perfect gift. It is my Granddaughters 21st next year so I will do something similar for her, it really is so easy using the software.”

“The software is great to use and its easy to make a professional looking book. However, I can see there is a problem with the finished results: many, if not all, of the darker photos which I lightened up using the bob software came out dark, as if they hadn't been edited at all. Could there be an issue somewhere here? It bothers me quite a bit but not the recipient who loves her book regardless of some too dark photos!”

The issue appears to have been caused by our matte paper which can print a little darker than our other paper stocks. I have sent this to our customer care manager to look into. “We were looking for a simple solution to making a classy photo book and we are delighted with the result. Very little effort was required on our part. The quality is so good that we will may a bit more attention to the photo quality the next time. The packing was also very good.”

“I was worried about trying to use the software to design my wedding album with Bob books but it was so incredibly easy and well explained I actually enjoyed making it in the end ! I loved having full control of every detail. The team on the phone are also very helpful !”
