“I have used BB twice now, and generally a good experience. The app is great, although there is a tendency for it to crash, which is as scary as annoying when you have been working on a photo book for what seems weeks! (hence the four and not five star review). Once ordered, the final book arrived on time and looked great.”

“Bob Books are always great quality photo books. We now have quite a few of different sizes and they are all impressive by their print quality. Having seen many other photo books from other suppliers, we have always come back to Bob Books as they are the best.”

“I've had a number of photo albums produced by BobBooks using 2 of the paper finishes and both binding options. Both paper finishes were great and both binding options were great but the lay flat option was definitely the best. Print quality is great but I found the colour print ever so slightly less saturated than the digital version. I was using a calibrated monitor but it hasn't been calibrated since purchase so it may be my own fault. In future (and I will definately use BobBooks again) I'll be pushing the saturation in my pictures a fraction more to compensate.”

“The book design site is very good and user friendly which makes it easy to create new books. Perhaps the templates available for frames, borders etc could be expanded a bit as there is a new for more stylish, classy content. Flicking between designer mode and my home page to access my account is not as seamless as i would like it, but that may just be me. Overall a very good service that i will continue to use going forward!”

“Mostly good due to easy to use OFFLINE programme, so I could be putting together my book while on the daily commute. Good quality final print, lay-flat options etc, good level of control.”

“The book was beautiful, but I initially started it using the online application. It kept crashing so I had to start again using the desktop application. This was frustrating as I had to start again after hours of work and then I had to rush to upload it in time for Christmas. Also the book took 5 hours to upload, I think you need to be more upfront about how long it takes, as during the process I wasn't sure if the upload had stopped working.”

Thank you for sending your feedback. I am so sorry you found the upload process slow. From your description it sounds like you may have an unreliable internet connection The Online Book Creator, does require good internet connection, and if it is slow or cuts out you will experience problems uploading images, making changes and saving your book. The Bob Designer software allows you to create your book offline and only require internet connection when you upload and order your book. However an unreliable connection can cause this to take a while. Apologies for the inconvenience. Kind regards, Bob Books

“Ease of using the software is good once you get to grips with it, lots of advice available on the help button. Ability to control how much automatic help to use and how much to design oneself is useful. Quality of finished product is excellent. Speed of delivery and packaging is excellent. These books make us and our relatives happy as a book of photographs is so much more accessible than photos on the computer. Our aged relative just loves to show her books to all who visit. Four stars as the books are expensive to make. Overall very happy with the product and will continue using.”

“I have now used Bob Books to create 4 photograph albums for family use. The quality of the hardback large format flat-opening book is very good indeed allowing freedom of innovative display and the lustre finish is superb. The cost is not cheap but is worth it for the ease of use and the quality of the finished product.”
