“Choice of books and the finished product are good. Lay flat bindings are great for landscapes. Just one con. If you make a picture that is exactly the stated size of the book pages, it turns out that it doesn't fit on the page exactly; you still lose a bit from the edge.”

“Very pleased with the quality of the finished product (as on previous occasions). If I'm being very picky I was a bit disappointed with the photos containing a pink colour, as the pink seemed almost fluorescent - a bit too bright to be a faithful representation of the dresses being worn.”

“There is a difference of colour tone in some of the photos in the book to that from the lightroom screen. My PC was colour calibrated prior to the submission. However I’m really pleased with the book. It looks fab. Thank you”

“The book turned out well. Had major problems constructing it, apparently because I was working from the website, and hadn't downloaded the app. I am too computer-ignorant to know the difference! Your people were unfailingly polite, but at the same time unable to help me when I phoned for advice.”

“I do not have much experience at all of other on-line album producers but Bob Books system feels user-friendly and flexible. The process is easy to follow and the albums I've produced (8-9) over the last few years have turned out exactly as I expected after uploading. The software updates come through regularly, the albums come back promptly and it all seems to work fine to me, as I said with very little experience elsewhere. I have no plans to look elsewhere.”

“I was very pleased with the finished product - my first photobook. I found your software less flexible than Snapfish which I used for another book immediately afterwards before I had your book back. I found your software less flexible sometimes on fitting a photo into a shape and also to moving shapes around, especially the former aspect.”

“Does what it says on tin. Book paper good. Would like to specify non-standard sizes (or have more to choose from). Most functions you could want are present though I couldn't find a way to scale photo to fit frame (?). Red-eye correction not great.”

“High quality products - books and calendars - lots of friendly support when needed. Only not 5 stars because some things need tidying up - like combining online and downloaded orders. It is much better to download the software - more options - if your network speed is fast enough.”

Hi Norma, Thank you for your review. The size which you choose (large portrait), is the only size we offer which isn't available with our lay-flat photographic papers. Unfortunately, the machinery used for producing the photographic paper books isn't large enough for the Large Portrait books. “More choice and control than comparable programs. My books print true to color with no enhancement, small cards needed enhancement. Fast service and delivery.”

“I haven't seen the finished product as it's been sent as a gift. I used the online book maker, which took me a while to get used to but there are lots of options for layout, background etc. The turn around time was quick and the end product delivered promptly”
