Direct 4 Pet is the new easy name from Black Cat Medicines Limited.
Established in 1985 within a Lancashire Veterinary Surgery, we are now a busy Internet Pet Pharmacy and Pet Store shipping over 40,000 orders a month to our fantastic loyal customers. We are committed to delivering quality products at competitive prices and our Veterinary Surgery has been providing the highest standards of care for over 30 years. Our philosophy is to deliver excellence through a compassionate, approachable, and professional service to all our customers.

Our team of friendly team is made of up of veterinary surgeons, SQP's and an amazing back office team of Product Managers, Customer Services and our super efficient warehouse team. They are all happy to chat and are only a call away. All our vets are fully qualified and registered with the Royal Veterinary College; in addition, all our vets have practiced for many years.

The team at Black Cat Medicines has been together for a number of years and have an excellent working relationship together. Our team represents a valuable combination of experience and enthusiasm with the younger members of the team providing a constant source of innovation.

This product was ordered on Tuesday 9th April. Its now Mondy 15th April and still not arrived. We won't be using Direct4 Pets again.

Direct4pet: A Cat-astrophe of Customer Service - 1 Star Avoid Direct4pet like the plague, unless you have a high tolerance for frustration and disappointment and dealing with bureaucratic nightmares. My recent experience with them was an absolute ordeal, leaving my cat hungry and me beyond frustrated. The Problem: My order arrived with a ripped open bag of cat food, clumsily patched up with branded Direct4pet tape. Not only was it useless, but it also raised serious concerns about the food's freshness and potential contamination, not to mention screaming "lax quality control" with its haphazard tape job. This felt more like a desperate cover-up than a responsible solution.This is unacceptable for any food, let alone the allergy management dry cat food my beloved feline depends on. The Runaround: Instead of a prompt replacement or refund, Direct4pet made me jump through hoops. Their "solution" involved returning the damaged bag (leaving my cat with no food for potentially 5 days) and filling out unnecessary paperwork. My concerns about this absurd wait time and additional burden were met with nothing but apologies and further bureaucracy. Eventually Rectified, But Too Late: After much back-and-forth, they finally agreed to expedite a replacement, arriving one day later than promised. My cat's food supply ran out two days before that, meaning she went hungry thanks to Direct4pet's incompetence. The Bottom Line: While they eventually rectified the issue, the entire process was a stressful and time-consuming mess. Their complete lack of urgency and apparent disregard for my pet's well-being were downright shocking. This wasn't just a mistake; it was a slap in the face to a loyal customer with multiple previous orders. Never Again: Direct4pet has lost my trust completely. Their shoddy packaging, abysmal customer service, and disregard for their customers' needs are enough to send anyone running for the hills. Do yourself and your pets a favour and look elsewhere for your pet food needs. There are plenty of reliable and customer-focused options out there that won't leave you scrambling to avoid feline famine.

It was horrendous. I'm leaving a review before even receiving the items because the experinece was so bad. Your force customers to create an account in order for them to check out and the beforw they can check out your bombard them with pages upon pages of add of your discounted item. I was forced to view 10 pages before I could finally check out. Horrendous, cheeky, and damn right shocking.

Appalling! Charged my credit card without my permission and despite multiple attempts since the 28th of December. It's impossible to speak to anyone as the phone line doesn't connect and just receive the same generic message thanking me for my order which I have tried to cancel for over 1 week, it's now apparently been sent to an address I no longer live at and "taken by a neighbour". Will never ever use or recommend this company to anyone! SHOCKING!!!

I have tried to cancel my subscription, emailed and logged on. No subscriptions listed, even though I'm still paying, no reply to emails. No full address on parcel - so I have to collect from my neighbour. Please someone cancel my subscription.

Easy to place order. However, incorrect item was delivered. You have to jump through hoops to try and return the "wrong" item before you even get a refund. Very poor service.

It's always in the execution. No ability to select preferred shippers. Shipper direct 4pet used lists problem delivering despite us being here all day. We'll run out of medicine in a couple of days...

I sent my returns(2 items) in one package and have received the money only for one!I been trying to resolve this with the seller but he doesn't helped me!That means that he is not checking returns! Plus despatching time was a week!! Worst seller! Beware!

Paying for the item was easy, they took your money without any issue, however when it came to delivering the item that was very disappointing as I’m still waiting for my delivery which should have been 2 days ago. I will not be using this company again.

Easy to order but when not delivered impossible to contact you! Even the office phone recorded message 'closed for today' this at 9.45 am Thursday 17.8.23. Very upset and unhappy with this! Where is my order??

I paid extra for 24hr delivery as I needed the medication quite urgently, it has now been 6days and I still have not received my order. I have sent 2 emails but have had no response. Very disappointing, will not use this company again or recommend it.

I paid for an express service before 4 pm for my product. I had reason to do this as my dog really needed it. I paid on the Saturday but I still hasn't arrived by the end on Monday. I tried calling at 4:45pm as it closed at 5pm but the customer service was already closed. I would not recommend this retailers.
