Direct 4 Pet is the new easy name from Black Cat Medicines Limited.
Established in 1985 within a Lancashire Veterinary Surgery, we are now a busy Internet Pet Pharmacy and Pet Store shipping over 40,000 orders a month to our fantastic loyal customers. We are committed to delivering quality products at competitive prices and our Veterinary Surgery has been providing the highest standards of care for over 30 years. Our philosophy is to deliver excellence through a compassionate, approachable, and professional service to all our customers.

Our team of friendly team is made of up of veterinary surgeons, SQP's and an amazing back office team of Product Managers, Customer Services and our super efficient warehouse team. They are all happy to chat and are only a call away. All our vets are fully qualified and registered with the Royal Veterinary College; in addition, all our vets have practiced for many years.

The team at Black Cat Medicines has been together for a number of years and have an excellent working relationship together. Our team represents a valuable combination of experience and enthusiasm with the younger members of the team providing a constant source of innovation.

“Order dispatched no problem Then no sign of the parcel then the parcel got burst in transit so no parcel for me then”

“This is a scam company, avoid using. I ordered 550g of Copdock Mill fish pond flakes. The pack that arrived was 150g. They said it was a misprint on their website however it also shown on my invoice as 550g. Its still being advertised as 550g. They refuse to refund me because I opened the packet so I asked them to send another 400g or refund the difference but they didn't respond. I've reported the company to Trading Standards as they are clearly misleading and defrauding their customers.”

“Not great and I won’t sadly be back agsin. Definite lack of communication. I thought the entire order was out for delivery (as no communication to the contrary) when it wasn’t. Direct4pets actually didn’t have the stock but didn’t bother to tell me until I chased it with them twice. Eventually this led to a cancellation of it & a refund & I was stuck scrambling to find the right dog food.”

“First visit to Vets 4 Pets, as a referral from my original vets. £47 for a tiny bottle of eye drops, after paying £38 5 weeks previously for the eye ointment. Was advised not to use after a 5 week period. Got home to find a new, un-used bottle of the same eye drops in my fridge. Called V4P immediatley to advise, and that I would return the eye drops asap. Still in the bag, box, un-touched. They said NO! Shocking! I was very disappointed, especially after my first visit. I gave them £166 that day.”

“The purchase was very easy and the price reasonable but the service was atrocious! It stated a 2 to 4 day delivery. After a week, I phoned to find out where my dog food was, only to be told it had not been picked for delivery yet, so to compensate me they would ship it overnight, so I received it next day. Three days later, still nothing! I phoned again, to be told it was on its way, another two days, so I emailed asking what they were going to do to make this right as I had to buy other dog food. I was told it was on it's way, no apology, nothing. It arrived two weeks after it should have with no apology or recompense.”
