Direct 4 Pet is the new easy name from Black Cat Medicines Limited.
Established in 1985 within a Lancashire Veterinary Surgery, we are now a busy Internet Pet Pharmacy and Pet Store shipping over 40,000 orders a month to our fantastic loyal customers. We are committed to delivering quality products at competitive prices and our Veterinary Surgery has been providing the highest standards of care for over 30 years. Our philosophy is to deliver excellence through a compassionate, approachable, and professional service to all our customers.

Our team of friendly team is made of up of veterinary surgeons, SQP's and an amazing back office team of Product Managers, Customer Services and our super efficient warehouse team. They are all happy to chat and are only a call away. All our vets are fully qualified and registered with the Royal Veterinary College; in addition, all our vets have practiced for many years.

The team at Black Cat Medicines has been together for a number of years and have an excellent working relationship together. Our team represents a valuable combination of experience and enthusiasm with the younger members of the team providing a constant source of innovation.

“Very slow to dispatch”

“I paid for an express service before 4 pm for my product. I had reason to do this as my dog really needed it. I paid on the Saturday but I still hasn't arrived by the end on Monday. I tried calling at 4:45pm as it closed at 5pm but the customer service was already closed. I would not recommend this retailers.”

“I placed an order before the 4 pm deadline and paid extra for next day delivery only for it to be dispatched that same day it was supposed to be delivered , however after receiving a delivery confirmation that it had been handed to a neighbour as I was at work no card has been left. No email notification to tell me which house number even at this very moment i’m still none the wiser where my package is., I replied to an email who asked me to knock on the neighbours doors theres around 50 houses on each side of the road it’s a needle in a haystack job , £70 is a lot of money to lose and I desperately need this package for my cats illness i’m only writing this poor review with you because my email is being unanswered after a request for a refund or another package when I’m next available at home, next step will be a phone call and potentially trading standard's if necessary I’m now finding myself £70 down with no package and my cat is unable to have his special Veterinary food he desperately needs”

“I ordered, on June 6th Crystal Management wet food for my cat who has Struvite crystals. what I was sent was Allergan Management. Communication is shocking. Returning was a joke because you KNEW as soon as you did NO ONE would look at the for you fill out because it asks if you want a refund OR a replacement. I asked for a replacement with the correct food. After chasing this up with them, seeing they had received the unopened food back, I get a confirmation they will REFUND me. In the meantime I had to go to my expensive vet and pay £45 for the same food they are selling for £29. The hassle isn't worth the savings.”
