Direct 4 Pet is the new easy name from Black Cat Medicines Limited.
Established in 1985 within a Lancashire Veterinary Surgery, we are now a busy Internet Pet Pharmacy and Pet Store shipping over 40,000 orders a month to our fantastic loyal customers. We are committed to delivering quality products at competitive prices and our Veterinary Surgery has been providing the highest standards of care for over 30 years. Our philosophy is to deliver excellence through a compassionate, approachable, and professional service to all our customers.

Our team of friendly team is made of up of veterinary surgeons, SQP's and an amazing back office team of Product Managers, Customer Services and our super efficient warehouse team. They are all happy to chat and are only a call away. All our vets are fully qualified and registered with the Royal Veterinary College; in addition, all our vets have practiced for many years.

The team at Black Cat Medicines has been together for a number of years and have an excellent working relationship together. Our team represents a valuable combination of experience and enthusiasm with the younger members of the team providing a constant source of innovation.

“This review is more about how products from Black Cat Medicines are advertised by Tesco Marketplace rather than being directly about Black Cat Medicines. I ordered Oralade for our poorly dog via Tesco Marketplace on a Saturday. The product was good value and offered both standard delivery and premium (next day) delivery at no extra cost. I needed the product quite urgently so opted for premium delivery expecting it to arrive the next day, Sunday. It didn't arrive on Sunday and when it hadn't arrived on Monday morning, I managed to find a telephone number for Direct4Pet, a partner of Tesco Marketplace (Black Cat Medicines (the same company) are not listed as a partner) and spoke to a charming lady called Alex. She explained that Black Cat Medicines do not offer a premium delivery service via Tesco Marketplace. She reviewed the delivery tracking (Amazon) and indicated the package was in transit and was likely to be delivered within 3 to 4 working days. By way of apology, she confirmed she would post out and additional bottle of Oralade via premium delivery. In the eevnt, teh original delivery arrived on Wednesday and the additional delivery on Thursday. Alex at Blackcat Medicines kept me updated by email throughout.”

“Browsing the web when I saw this company advertising a FREE pack of Plus One cat treats when buying Porous One kidney sachets. That's a £12 saving plus free postage. I placed my order without any problems. I'm dropping a star because one of the customer care staff was a bit thick when answering a question.... otherwise recommended.... will return if I don't get my FREE goods.....”
