Direct 4 Pet is the new easy name from Black Cat Medicines Limited.
Established in 1985 within a Lancashire Veterinary Surgery, we are now a busy Internet Pet Pharmacy and Pet Store shipping over 40,000 orders a month to our fantastic loyal customers. We are committed to delivering quality products at competitive prices and our Veterinary Surgery has been providing the highest standards of care for over 30 years. Our philosophy is to deliver excellence through a compassionate, approachable, and professional service to all our customers.

Our team of friendly team is made of up of veterinary surgeons, SQP's and an amazing back office team of Product Managers, Customer Services and our super efficient warehouse team. I have never found a website so difficult to use and even when I went back to the vet to send it for me , she got it wrong as well first time. I haven't checked the other e-mail you have sent me but I think you have probably sent me the wrong bottle of only 30ml when I want a big bottle of l00ml. With the dose my cat has to take 30ml won't last long. I did manage to order it on line last time I ordered but I believe it took me 2 hours to sort it out before I got it right. The prescription was dated 8th March and I am still trying to get the medication from you. Your help line was a fat lot of good as both an e-mail and a telephone couldn't help me because it was a prescription medication/. Can I order it by post as this seems the only way if the cat is not to suffer?

This website promises immediate delivery or order receipt or a maximum of 3 days at most, 6 days have passed and the order was just confirmed as dispatched...so there is a very poor service indeed, my cat could have died in this time without the urgent medicine she needed, I would not wish the week I had on anyone, I have struggled because these people are supposed to dispense medicine promptlybut deliver empty promises, I regret to have used this site...never again will I risk my pet's life this way...blacklisted in my book

Item arrived poorly packed and therefore the container split every where in the box. They did replace the item when I sent pictures. Now I am receiving unwanted emails asking if I want to buy it again - don't send marketing emails without first asking (against GDPR!). Won't be buying from them again.

Absolutely appalling service pay for the 48-hour delivery and 10 days later still waiting for my dogs pain medication and they do not care at all, avoid at all costs because I now cannot get a refund and I now cannot reuse the prescription which I used with them somewhere else, completely horrific

have not got delivery yet as gave a business address and Hermes are great at delivering at weekend no offence but who is going to be at a business address between 5 to 7 pm on a Saturday? If I had known u use Hermes I would have never ordered from you as had so many parcels just never arrive because they never factor in a business address Only tried two attempts before telling me it was sending it back to you and again late in the day after we close.

I ordered pain killer late on Monday night for my dog. I hadn’t heard anything by the Wednesday. I phoned and was told their vet wasn’t in on Tuesday so it hadn’t been signed off. They said it was being done that day and would be sent out on next day delivery. It’s now Friday and when I track on Royal Mail it’s still not out for delivery. Unimpressed.

Sadly, for the second time running, my order simply wasn’t shipped. Email notification saying it’s with the courier, yet the courier hasn’t received it. Apparently the warehouse system has issues where they mark it as shipped but don’t actually do it. Each time I’ve waited over a week then had to chase and argue that my items haven’t arrived, because the system says the order is complete. Really frustrating and a broken system is letting you down.

It was easy enough to place an order and I had an email the following day to say it was being processed, however I then had an email to say there was a delay in delivery and did I still want to proceed with my order or want a refund. I replied saying I wanted to proceed but the following day I received an email saying their server was down, sent another replica email but heard nothing since so no idea whether I will get my order. Very frustrated and not sure if I would use the company again if it doesn’t arrive in the next few days. Really wanted the product as my dog has a sore paw that isn’t healing, ugh!!.

Do not purchase from here ! I placed a order beginning on June and have not received it, I have sent several online request for a refund and have phoned the customer services but the answer machine kicks in straightaway saying the office is closed even though I am phoning in the stated opening times !

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BLACKS MEDICINE TO YOU. I'm in desperate need of medication for my Yorkie, who is about to give birth at any minute, and I made the terrible error of getting it from Black Medicine. On the night of May 19th, I paid for the fastest 24 hours delivery option available and supposed to receive the medication on 21st May. I sent them an email in the morning of 20th , explaining that I absolutely need it delivered right away. I have yet to get the shipment as of today, May 24th, but Hermes informed me that I might receive it on 25th May. Why? Because Black Medicines delivered it through Hermes, which is now Evri, which has the cheapest and slowest delivery time of 3-5 working days. Black Medicines who deal with the health of pets should be ashamed. Do not purchase from them.

I ordered Nettex vit boost a week ago and paid extra for quick delivery. I still haven’t received it. I had an email saying when it would arrive, that it was delayed and that they would let me know when it was coming the next day - but nothing. This is probably because the courier is Hermes - now called Evri- and they are imo unreliable.

The product I received is in a different bottle and the liquid is green not clear. I am worried about using on my dog. I have had this item before from my vets and on line and has been what was advertised.
