Direct 4 Pet is the new easy name from Black Cat Medicines Limited.
Established in 1985 within a Lancashire Veterinary Surgery, we are now a busy Internet Pet Pharmacy and Pet Store shipping over 40,000 orders a month to our fantastic loyal customers. We are committed to delivering quality products at competitive prices and our Veterinary Surgery has been providing the highest standards of care for over 30 years. Our philosophy is to deliver excellence through a compassionate, approachable, and professional service to all our customers.

Our team of friendly team is made of up of veterinary surgeons, SQP's and an amazing back office team of Product Managers, Customer Services and our super efficient warehouse team. They are all happy to chat and are only a call away. All our vets are fully qualified and registered with the Royal Veterinary College; in addition, all our vets have practiced for many years.

The team at Black Cat Medicines has been together for a number of years and have an excellent working relationship together. Our team represents a valuable combination of experience and enthusiasm with the younger members of the team providing a constant source of innovation.

“Unfortunately I never received my order as it turned out that the suppliers had run out and so I was given a vague estimated delivery date of some time in the New Year so I cancelled. In fairness, I am sure this was not the fault of direct4pet and they refunded immediately but I was informded that the order was on its way when clearly it could not have been.”

“Purchase was great and fast. However, terrible delivery service from Amazon Shipping when the driver put the parcel on my wheelie bin, and sent me a photo but it was actually inside my bin at the bottom. Bring a pensioner, I had to wave down his van and ask him why he did not ring my doorbell and asked him to get it out of my bin, which was too far for me to reach.”

“Ordering process was straightforward and easy, and delivery was within the time promised. What I was not made aware of and what has resulted in the lower review score, is that the items arrived in an Amazon box. I don't know if Direct4Pet are just a go-between and source products from Amazon or whether they just use them to ship things, but if they are re-selling products from a different source then they should make this clear at point of sale.”

“Finding what I needed was relatively easy, getting it has been painfully slow. If you're going to compete in the market place, you will need to be slicker on deliveries. I ordered on the 21st Nov, it's now the 25th and I do not have it. With places like eBay I would have got it by now and with free postage, so when you ask was my delivery on time, I say by who's standards? That's the sort of competition you are up against I'm sorry to say. So the three remaining questions in this review can't be answered because they pertain to the physical delivery of my order, which I am still waiting for.”
