“Machine is good, does exactly what it should. It was faulty upon installation but the installers repaired before leaving. Few issues with getting it installed but not Bibo's fault as they use outside engineers. Happy with Bobo company so far”

“Having had the system for six months I am quite happy with it. However, if you maintain the machine as per the manual it is surprisingly expensive so unless you use a lot of drinking water it may work out more expensive than buying bottled water. Ah you say but it’s saving all that plastic. Is it? Just think about the environmental aspects of manufacturing the unit and the replacement of quite large and substantial plastic filters. So it’s my opinion that the economic and environmental cases are a bit shaky. However, having said all of that, the convenience of hot and cold quality water available as required is a luxury not to be sneezed at. Whether Bibo is the best offering in it’s class I do not know. But the machine seems to be well made, and so far the service is very good, so I’m hoping it will pay off in terms of longevity.”

“The reason for not giving 5 stars is that the hot water supply did not last long enough to fill a medium size teapot.”

Hi Peter, thanks for your teapot. The BIBO hot tank is 1.25litres so you will be able to get this much drawn off in one go at the top temperature! :)

“Bibo is a smart little machine that sits on the kitchen worktop nicely. It’s neat and easy to use. The only thing I found could have designed better is when Bibo is in sleeping mode and you wake it up to get a cold glass if water, Bibo starts boiling hot water too, there should be an option to select what user wants it to do.”

“I was very impressed with unit and the guy who did the installation it but very disappointed that there were no instructions with the Unit as I would like to use the unit to it’s full potential. If you could send me the instructions as soon as possible please. Ruth Butcher,”

“I found it quite tricky to assemble and thought it wasn't working at first because I pressed the button on top and nothing happened. I then discovered you have to press really hard! The plastic casing seems quite fragile and I hope to goodness I never drop it. Apart from this I am pleased with it”

“Slightly bigger than I was expecting, also seems to cut in and out 2 or 3 times an hour but only for shirt time. Not how this is going to work out cost wise. Overall pleased with machine.”

“Service very good. No problem ordering or returning empty cylinders and receiving refund of deposit. Only difficulty is inserting new cylinders where it is difficult to get a true fit. Either the button does not release gas into bottle or the gas leaks out giving a reduced number of bottles of water aerated. Needs careful replacement of cylinders - only my wife can do it properly! Water very refreshing”

“I have had my Bibo for a few years now and I’m very happy with it . My only criticism is the price for filters and that they are not recyclable . Also I wish there was a switch I could put it to sleep when I know I won’t be using it fir a few hours.”

Hi Jackie, Thanks so much for your feedback. Both our Maxi Filter and UV Lamp anre 100% recyclable so please do pop them in your household recycling and they will take them away! You can set your sleep mode to kick in after one hour of inactivity - please do let us know if you'd like any help getting this set up! :) BIBO HQ

“Generally speaking the unit works well and produces hot and cold filtered water to order.The main problem I have had is difficulty removing and replacing the filter unit for descaling. I was not supplied with keys for either the Filter itself which needs to be removed for descaling or for the cleaning cartridge.”

“Very pleased with the machine and installation. Please note that when you enter a 'lease' agreement the machine provided could be a refurbished machine. Ours arrived with some damage and a very dirty water tray but customer service was outstanding in sending replacements out.”
