“I made a very small purchase - a meter box latch. The product was absolutely fine and no complaints. However the cost was doubled by postage a packing. It was clear why when it arrived as rather than popping it in a small envelope with a 70p first class stamp it was sent in a large box, most of the weight of which was a catalogue. Also annoying that it was sent UPS as that meant it was not left when they tried to deliver when I was out. Having said that I knew what I was paying when I bought it. Mostly irritated that delivery was delayed because a £4.35 + VAT purchase (plus £4.95 + VAT postage) could not just be left in the porch, or if in senbsible packing be put through the letterbox.”

“My order for some reason was split into two parts, one part arrived with me on time the other part of the order for some reason got sent to Northampton. BES were very apologetic and it all turned up early the next day. Everything was present and correct. I think it was a courier issue and not BES themselves.”
