“Selecting our product was straight forward on the website and delivery was swift which was fantastic. However the after service has been a little hit and miss.
Our smoker BBQ frustratingly broke after construction. BBQ world communicated well and after a couple of emails I had hoped the issue was resolved. However I am still waiting for my new part to arrive.
This may well not be directly linked to BBQ world as the part is being sent by Broil King directly from what I understand. However, the part has still not arrived almost a month later. This could well be due to the current pandemic, but to be kept in the loop would have been great otherwise it will be another call to BBQ world to chase.
Ideally I would love to have given 4-5 stars. However keeping in mind the price of our product I would have expected better comms / after service in regard to confirming the arrival of our new part or seeing whether it had even arrived without having to chase so much.”
“Ordered a BBQ for delivery 20th April, was changed to the 23rd April, changed again to the 27th April and still has not been delivered so waiting now for another date! probably the worst online delivery order I have ever experienced.”
“My order for a Cadac Carri Chef 2 was processed very promptly and I received my package within a few days. Assembly was very easy. I’d also bought a new gas regulator and quick release tailpiece and I was connected to a gas bottle and the bbq was fired up and working within about 30 minutes. It’s a very nice piece of kit and I like the ability to swap cooking plates and use different gas sources when necessary. Very pleased with my purchase.”
“BBQ arrived firmly attached to a pallet by sticky wrap, and very well boxed - no issues at all. There are lot and lot of pieces, and it took two of us 3 hours to assemble, following the very clear instructions. We needed some specialist tools (e.g. socket set with universal joints) to get some parts attached. Be aware that the self-assembly required is a step up from an IKEA bookshelf. However, the BBQ fired up first time, and we're now waiting for the good weather to return!”
“The package came later than the gas canisters and had obviously been dropped and repackaged by DPD. It had a small dent in the metal. Very little by way of an apology just a short e-mail saying what do you want to do?”
