“The website was easy to use and like the ease of multiple addresses options for sending to lots of people. Really shocked at the delivery cost £26 each hamper and I ordered 2.....won't be using the company again because of this.”

Hi Izzy, Thank you for your Review. We are disappointed to hear that after enjoying your Baskets Galore shopping experience, the delivery charges mean you will not be shopping with us again. You have selected the Special Saturday Delivery Service, this is more than our standard £6.99 charge as the couriers do not normally operate over the weekend. There are no hidden charges in our Gift Baskets as we charge exactly what our Third Party Couriers charge, which may be why the Saturday Delivery charges may seem unsuitable. I can see your Gift Baskets are going to two different address, so this is why there is a delivery charge per Gift Basket. “I was pleased to see magazines as an option, but pretty disappointed that these are charged at £5.99 per magazine, I think that's awful.”

“I didn't care for most of the pre-made baskets (especially they way they were gendered with men's and women's reading material), but the ability to build your own basket was quite good. There was a nice selection of items and I enjoyed being able to pick exactly what I wanted. More importantly, my girlfriend was thrilled when she received it and said the presentation was nice. Shipping costs were reasonable and it arrived exactly on time. Good experience overall.”

“I ordered this in haste for my niece and chose this hamper as it was most popular. I have pasted her feedback here. "Hamper very well presented, but quite a lot of air filled bags underneath contents so it looked like you were getting a lot more. I thought the variety of goodies is excellent and they all seem to be of very high quality. The wheaten & cranberry toasts were very hard for my liking, I had to watch my teeth & the flavour wasn't great, the oatcakes were much better. My only niggle would be the Best Before dates on some of the items, a couple of the cheeses & the nut butter had dates of 6th April compared to the longer dates on everything else. 4.5 out of 5”

“We purchased the get well soon boredom basket. The basket was fantastic, great idea with other items included instead of just fruit or flowers. My only complaint is the delivery charge was extortionate when there was no need, stating that we were remote location, we are just outside Aberdeen city definitely not remote! Even checked the delivery company they utilised costs and it was under this amount we were charged a flat rate £19.99, which was ridiculous. I would imagine this will put off other buyers.”

However, it is disappointing to hear the delivery charge for your Order has shadowed the great experience you had so far with BG. Unfortunately, this is the charge made by our Third Party Courier, as the Postcode is registered as Remote. There are no hidden costs in our Gift Baskets and we charge exactly what the couriers do for delivery, this could be why the costs may seem unsuitable. “First time I have used this company and it was to send to an employee who had an accident. I found the site very easy to use, it was nice to see baskets that had a variety of items e.g. honey, cake, fruit etc....and quality appeared to be of the essence. I was kept up to date with the progress of the order which was delivered this morning. I have not seen the basket however the employee has referred to it as an ''absolutely super' gift box so that's good enough for me !”

“I'm a grandmother that lives in United State and I wanted to purchase a hamper for my grandchildren for Easter. I searched a lot of other businesses and I found BasketsGalore very appealing for what they had to offer in each of their baskets and for any occasion. The service was very reliable and the hamper was packed very nicely. I highly recommend BasketsGalore to anyone. This company knows how to take care of their customers. “I am so impressed with the service I have received! I managed to order a basket on Wednesday for delivery on Thursday. I was sending the basket to friends of mine who got parried on Thursday so I asked if possible that the basket arrived the morning of delivery as I wanted them to receive it before their wedding and it DID! This made their important day even more special. It is just a shame that I didn't get to try any of the goods in the basket... maybe I need to order one for myself! I look forward to using them again. Josue P.”

“Ordered a gift basket, and set a delivery date, but the family were out. Basketsgalore re delivered, and replaced perishable goods for free. The gift basket contained high quality items, and the company kept me informed of order status throughout with e-mails. I will definitely use Basketgalore in the future.”

“Beautiful selection of baskets. We are in the U.S. with family in the U.K. A new baby has arrived and we were delighted to find the perfect new baby welcome basket!!! The process was relatively easy until the paypal option which failed multiple times and I had to go through the process again and pay by a credit card - which cost a surcharge as I use Amex. Whereas my paypal is tied to my Amex and would not have resulted in a surcharge. or perhaps that was the problem?? Hopefully this little glitch is fixed as paying by paypal is preferred.”
