As I have not received my goods yet, it wouldn't be fair to comment. But so far, service has been really good, just wish I didn't have to wait 8weeks for delivery.

Great product, great staff, only criticism is that delivery took place 15 minutes outside of the two hour delivery window which caused me issue with my nursery pick up, otherwise would be 5 stars.

Really happy to have a store open in Guildford; we desperately needed such furniture store in Guildford. We're really happy with the furniture we bought. However given the amount of money spent (?900+), one would expect the delivery to be included in the price.

I ordered an online candelabra on the 31st December. When I had not received it 8 days later, I chased it up and the online response team said that it was in the factory. I waited a further two days and not having received it, I contacted the online centre again. I was told that it would be despatched that very day. I received it a day later. While being pleased to receive the long awaited candelabra, I hurriedly opened the box but noticed the item's brand was not on the box but another product's brand was displayed. All the pieces to the candelebra lay in the box full of protective fibre glass bits. I hurriedly dug my way through the box as if searching for a prize in a tombola. Having found the pieces to set up the candelabra, I discovered that not only was there no instructions to help me put the pieces together but one main piece, the base, was missing. I contacted the online help team and was advised to take it to my local Barker and Stonehouse store for help. I did so and found the sales asisstant incredibly helpful especially as he eventually found the last candelabra in the shop which, with advice from his supervisor, exchanged its base with mine. He then mounted my candelabra and I left the store an incredibly happy person with a quality home accessory. Thank you Barker and Stonehouse for alleviating a stressful situation if I had to return the Candelabra to its online home.

Quite good , but not impressed with the chat line when trying to confirm my order Not the most clear system to use. I really did have to chase you to gain confirmation of my major purchase. And I would like to hear from you , the projected delivery date?

Great stores quality products friendly faces only criticism is the after customer service process alittle slow in response x however when you do speak to customer service everything is sorted at great speed and professionally

I absolutely love the chairs we bought, they are so comfortable and look great with our table. The quality of the material and make are super too. I just wondered why it took 6 days for me to get an email to go and pick it up from click and collect, when it said that there were 6 chairs in stock. However that is the only negative comment I would make as I am so pleased with them.

The items in Barker and Stonehouse are amazing. We're refurbishing our house and literally purchased 80% of our furnishings from the store. The staff are very knowledgeable and eager to help. However, we spent long periods waiting for an assistant to answer our queries as we browsed which although the store was very busy was quite frustrating at times.

7 week wait not ideal and email to "dear price "( not my name ). I will let you know how good you are when I finally get my item. The item of furniture when it came was really nice and probably worth the wait

Originally had a long wait but noticed it came in stock online and asked why I was still waiting. They sorted the issue out straight away! Sofa arrived when arranged and delivery personnel were brilliant, we didn't think it was going to get in the living room but they kept trying till it went. They even took out old sofa for us.

Purchased this table to go in our new dining room with existing upholstered dining chairs. The table is solidly made and the wood block design gives a really natural finish. Really pleased with this table, it's even better than you can gauge from the online photos. Would have given 5 stars for barker and storehouse service, however, had to call them about allocated delivery date being after Xmas when item had been sold in the 'delivery before Xmas' promotion. Transpired the additional leaf ordered was not in stock so they'd put the whole order back but a swift call to b&s explained the situation and they delivered the table within 10 days. Great Response to our request.

Bought a number of items from B&S, very happy with the quality and the store service. Only complaint was that one item was delivered broken and it took a couple of weeks to be fixed. That said their customer service is very helpful and easy to contact. They arranged for a replacement part rather than attempting to fix it.

I am very pleased with the oak headboard which I recently purchased from Barker and Stonehouse. It matches beautifully the oak topped furniture which I purchased on a different occasion. Overall a very smart looking headboard which finishes the room off well.

I am so pleased with my Kimberly oak furniture l have many different pieces of it I'm satified with every one . I bought it on line and all went smoothly the only complaint l have is your charge for delivery it does push the price of the purchase up .

Disappointed that the website is not always accurate (eg allowing you to order and take payment for something that isn?t in stock and is discontinued). However store staff and customer service callers are consistently polite and helpful, and have always rectified problems if they have occurred. The quality of items is always high.

Very happy with the item I bought. The delivery men carried it in carefully and positioned it where I asked. I would just like to add that although the item was in stock (when I tracked my order), no-one contacted me to arrange delivery. I had to contact Barker & Stonehouse myself. Delivery was finally arranged, but it was outside the 2 week delivery window quoted on their website.
